Logan Would Never Kiss Me
Logan liked to take pride in the idea that he was smarter than everyone else in the group. However, if someone who didn't know him saw him gently stirring a Crofters jar with a spoon without really paying attention to his surroundings, they'd think that he was puzzled about something. They would be right, but anyone who knew him wouldn't dare say it to his face. Logan knew he couldn't change the actions and dialogue of the past, but he continued to dwell on it as if looking for a hidden message or something out of place like a pile of autumn oak leaves in a picture of a pine forest.

Patton the Great Pumpkin
Patton didn't have a problem with his role as Thomas's morality, but he decided to get another job in order to feel like he can contribute more. For the first few years, it felt dull since not a lot of people thought this job was legitimate. However, the amount of kids that were aware of his occupation grew, and Patton felt that the happiness of the children he gave treats to was worth the hard work: making treats, making gifts that weren't complicated, traveling, labeling the gifts, even blending in with the pumpkins. Yes, pumpkins. Patton's second job was as the Great Pumpkin. He hasn't told anyone, since he didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

Friend in Need
Warnings: character death Patton was, without a doubt, a really happy kid who could brighten the darkest of nights with a smile. He loved to play around the town and do good deeds for people, even if they didn't know the deeds were done by him. No matter what, he wanted to make people happy, so when he saw a young boy sitting alone on a swing and looking down, he knew he was needed since everyone else seemed preoccupied.

Redemption
Valda stands at one end of a clearing, the hilt of her rapier gripped firmly in her claws. A blinding flash of lightning reflects off of her blue scales, momentarily disrupting the dark, overcast evening. Despite the curtain of storm clouds, the air is dry with anticipation. After a deep breath, Valda raises her gaze to meet that of Kero, a red dragonborn adorned with heavy armor and a confident smirk. At the edge of Valda's vision, other dragonborn shift in the shadows. Some regard her with scorn, others with approval. The moments to come would decide the future of the clan. Everything she had fought for, the adventures and the failures, weighed now on her shoulders. For the first time among her own kind, she felt alone. Her heart ached for her friends, Colyn, Cayla, Kid, and her dear Bethany... She couldn't think of them now. Too often had she been blinded by rage and emotion, and hurt others because of her recklessness.

Missed Knowledge
I am walking with my son, Virgil, through the woods so we can spend time together. Every moment we spend together makes me feel like I am doing something right in his eyes. Unfortunately, I don't play with him or express intense emotions like a normal father should when around his kid. Due to the fact that I am prone to heart troubles, I don't get overexcited or active when caring for my son. I noticed that he was becoming less social towards other kids as time went by and I feel guilty for being a factor for that sort of behavior. I don't want to frighten Virgil, so I am always faced with the ultimatum of "play with your boy or survive long enough to see your boy grow introverted." That being said, it makes me even more grateful for the times we spend together when I can make him smile without too much of a need to cling to my chest and take deep breaths until my chest stops hurting. Some of the activities that we love partaking in together are reading simple poetry that I was able to teach someone his age, looking at the stars and connecting the dots, and even going on walks in the woods as long as he has his special jacket with him and I provide facts for him about nature that can disprove his worries. No matter the temperature, he always feels safe in his big purple jacket and I would never separate him from something that makes him feel safe.

No Longer Normal (Part 2)
When Logan was waking up, he was slowly starting to notice that he wasn't in his room. As he was cleaning his glasses with his tie and acknowledging the stench of raw meat and some blood, he remembered what happened: he came to give Patton a well-deserved apology, and promised to help him emotionally. He looked over in Patton's direction only to notice that he was staring at the ceiling. Though Logan didn't make a lot of noise, Patton turned his face towards the egghead and smiled.

No Longer Normal
Patton looked outside the window while everyone else went to the real world to help Thomas with a dilemma. He wished he could go outside and enjoy 68 fresh air and wide open spaces of the Imagination. One of the reasons he repressed emotions in the past was actually a reason he was glad no one saw him longingly looking out the window: he would suffocate from so many questions smothering him that he would know how to react or what to say or what the reactions would be. He stared out the window before tugging on the sleeves of his cat hoodie. He knew of the risks, but even a part of Thomas could only be cooped up in a house for so long before going crazy. He properly put the cat hoodie on himself (grateful that the fabric of the hoodie was strong) and placed his hands in his pockets before heading out the door.

Room #609: Chow Len the Prophet Laval Lord
When the dust settled from the war, among many other factions, the Black Dragons were born. Chow Len is the new name of this warrior, formerly known as Kano. Chow Len went into hiding in Asia and Africa, working with various warlords along the way. Because of his extensive arsenal of hand-held and automatic weapons, the warlords bestowed the title "The Prophet" on Chow Len. Chow Len became known for hanging out with a group of highly skilled assassins and merciless bounty hunters as a result. However, any genuine opportunity to make Chow Len the Prophet's hand superior to his competitor was always a reason to secure permanent power in the Black Dragon Clan.

Brighten the Mind
Warning: character death It took a long time and a lot of vagueness used as excuses, but Virgil managed to find the spell book buried in the dark depths of Thomas's mind. He didn't need the influence of the Light Sides spiking his uneasiness. Not only that, but, as far as the other Dark Sides knew, the storm cloud was suffocated by a never-ending panic attack upon entering the depths (hence why Remus used to always find it funny to dare Virgil to take a dive when they were in Thomas's teen years), so he didn't have to worry about them stopping him from achieving his plan with the artifact in his possession.

Underworld Longing
To say that that denizens of the Underworld were unfamiliar with love would be incorrect. Logan was a demon who helped to keep order in the Underworld to counteract with the chaos that Eris would orchestrate. Even with the order and organization he was able to accomplish for so many millennia, nothing could've prepared him for a shy ghoul who was wandering around while waiting for the chance to be a born-again lifeform on the Surfaceworld. Sure, Logan has come across many creatures in the Underworld (including two little kids who claimed ownership of Death for several years), but there was something about the introverted ghoul that made him rather curious. After his shift, Logan went to a Spoken Word, held by a goblin, and managed to catch a glimpse of the familiar-looking ghoul. Logan took a deep breath and made his way to the ghoul before taking the empty seat across from him. Ever since that evening, the two have gotten to know each other and formed quite a bond. Logan would join the ghoul as he wandered around in the Underworld and even made the ghoul forget that he'd eventually be born onto the Surfaceworld. They would even spend Logan's lunch breaks together and made Logan realize, over time, that his job was actually really dull until he was able to spend time with the ghoul. They were different and had their ups and downs, but they wouldn't trade their time together for anything. It took many centuries and some help, but Logan eventually realized that he loved the ghoul as more than just a friend. By the time he ran off to confess to the ghoul, though, he received word that the ghoul had been born onto the Surfaceworld. Logan felt what he could only describe as emptiness. He called in mentally sick for a few days and didn't know what else to really do. On the last consecutive day, he called in for a mental health day, and he went to a lake of lava and stuck his hands into it. With as much energy as he could muster, he was able to use the magma to melt footprints into a sidewalk that his love would eventually walk on. He placed the lava onto his heart so that he could feel when his love's new form would fit his feet into the sidewalk.

Missing Memories
Virgil didn't remember much about his father, Logan. He remembered they used to stargaze, and that he didn't show emotions much. He knew, after talking to some relatives, that he had a surrogate mother since Logan felt more comfortable with the thought of being a single father. He tried to reach out to Logan with the number to his cell phone, but he never responded, nor did Logan ever try to reach out to him, so he felt uncertain of whether Logan ever regretted being a parent. He tried to bring Logan up to some relatives just to see if his father ever regretted him, but everyone would just keep to themselves. Even his birth mother didn't want to bring him up. All he wanted to know was what he did to make Logan not want to talk to him anymore.
