The fairytale world of photographer Tim Walker
The exhibition is named after the phrase used by an awestruck archaeologist in 1922 on seeing for the first time the glittering contents of Tutankhamun’s tomb: “wonderful things”. And the trademark Walker-wonderland preoccupations are all here – the English countryside, fairy tales, male nudes, and his influences in art and photography, from Beaton and Lartigue to children’s book illustrator Arthur Rackham.

My Review on Three Robots
"Love, Death, and Robots: Three Robots & Three Robots: Exit Strategies." Spoilers ahead! The other day I came across a funny animation called three robots that were part of a show called “Love, Death, and Robots.“ Many shorts range from horror, sci-fi, romance, and comedy. You can find this show on Netflix, the story was based on the short story written originally by John Scalzi, but was adapted by writer Philip Gelatt. The one I love so much and want to talk about is called Three Robots. A YouTuber channel named story recapped caught my attention when he explained the comedy/Science Fiction short film. I’ll include the link since I got some help from watching this video.

The Spirit of the Staircase
“The Spirit of the Staircase” by Marcel Marien was taken in 1949. The Spirit of the Staircase has great contrast and range of color/ tone. The shoes placed on the staircase positioned to look as if someone is walking up the stairs. The camera angle is taken at about waist level from the ground, and places the shoes slightly above eye level for the viewer. The positioning of the photograph leaves the shoes in the center vertically, but in the lower third horizontally.

Height. It’s one of those things you can’t really do much about in cosplay, isn’t it? You can turn into a purple alien, a lizard person, or a cyborg through the use of makeup, you can get your werewolf or elf on with prosthetics, and you can drive people up the wall with your Waluigi vocal imitation, but you can’t get from 5'6 to 5'11 without throwing on a pair of six-inch heels and going as the stripper version of your character.
