Reform UK, Nigel Farage, and the Battle Over ILR
In the turbulent landscape of British politics, few figures are as influential or divisive as Nigel Farage. As the honorary president and driving force behind Reform UK, he has once again thrust immigration to the forefront of the national conversation. A key point of contention in this debate is the future of policies like Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), a status that Reform UK has pledged to overhaul as part of its core platform. For migrants and political observers alike, understanding this proposed shift is critical.

"Beyond the Gates" Week 27 & 28 Review
The month of September has been a wild one for sure. I myself have been focused on the incoming NFL season and the chaos of the final month of baseball, but Beyond the Gates remained in my mind, especially since August ended with Chelsea held captive by psycho Allison. Of course, as I mentioned in the Week 26 recap, the month of September started off with yet another hiatus--September 1-5 were full of reruns. My goodness.

Phantom of Excalibur: Proposing a New Kitty Pryde Uniform for Marvel Future Fight
Kitty Pryde's journey through the Marvel Universe has seen her embody various roles: a brilliant young mutant, an X-Men stalwart, a ninja warrior, a Guardian of the Galaxy, a pirate captain, an educator, and the proud leader of the Marauders. However, her visually striking and thematically rich "Shadowcat" persona from the Excalibur era, which combines mutant abilities with martial arts mastery, is notably underrepresented in Marvel Future Fight.

Haunted Hotel (2025)
Netflix's latest animated venture, "Haunted Hotel," arrives with considerable pedigree behind it—created by Matt Roller (a writer from "Rick and Morty") and executive produced by Dan Harmon himself. Yet despite its impressive creative lineage and promising premise, the series struggles to establish its own distinct identity in an increasingly crowded field of adult animated comedies.

Explaining My Thoughts and Concerns for the Upcoming 51st Season of "Saturday Night Live"
I've known about Saturday Night Live since I was a kid, and it wasn't until my early teens that I started watching on NBC. By then, the known core group wasn't there anymore. People like Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Chris Rock were out of there and doing other things. On a sad note, SNL legends like Chris Farley and Phil Hartman left this world; the latter in the near end of 1997 and the former just five months later.

The Karens Are Coming, The Karens Are Coming
My, oh, my! The following story isn't a surprise to many people. During the 2020 global pandemic, a group of women who harass and falsely accuse others of doing mundane or ordinary things were known as Karens. Fast forward to now, a recent incident at a baseball game and a woman at the center of it is now a Halloween costume. Spirit Halloween is selling it at their stores. It includes a Phillies Jersey, stolen baseball, and bad attitude. Not included: an apology, as it was stated on the package. When you become the butt of all jokes and go viral, chances are a Halloween costume will be made and sold to thousands, even millions of people. Many of you already know the story about the woman I'm about to discuss, but just in case you haven't, here it is.

In defense of: Nina Cassady
Mike Logan, Lennie Briscoe, Ed Green, Robert Goren, these are a few detectives that are held in high regard by Law and Order fans across the board. Nina Cassady...is not one of them. Quite the opposite really, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who actually does like her.
