8 Reasons to Get Hooked on ABC Family's 'Shadowhunters'
I have always been a fan of shows that are out of the box, and take you into a fantasy world that only the most creative people would venture to build. One of those series that does that is Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series. Having already been made into a movie and not been well received, ABC Family (now known as Freeform) has been releasing content and keeping fans up to date on Shadowhunters for months. It premiered on January 12th with pretty strong ratings, at 1.8 million, but are there reasons to keep watching?

Why 'Designated Survivor' Is Already A Must-Watch Series For '24' Fans And Everybody Else
This post contains spoilers for both the pilot episode and the second episode of Designated Survivor. Designated Survivor hit television screens on September 21st, and electrified viewers in the first 10 minutes. Kiefer Sutherland, better known as Jack Bauer on 24, takes on a more sedate role as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, a family man who never expected to be thrust into the role of the Commander-in-Chief. But a bomb takes out the Capitol and all parties in the line of succession to the presidency, and Tom Kirkman's (Kiefer Sutherland) life changes forever.

5 Off-Screen TV Character Deaths That Broke Our Hearts. Top Story - November 2017.
Actors come and go on television, and most of the time, we've already heard the news and can prepare ourselves for the inevitable. We don't like it, but it's going to happen regardless of how we feel. When actors decide to leave, we face their on-screen deaths like Patrick Dempsey on Grey's Anatomy or Jimmy Smits on NYPD Blue. Those deaths can be traumatizing, and we cry along with the cast as they say goodbye.

I Think They've 'Lost' The Plot: ABC Execs Hated One Very Important Part of 'Lost'
M.A.S.H., Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, Game of Thrones — there are some truly great pieces of television out there, and the underrated '00s nugget that is #Lost will surely be among them. Yes, it may have lost its way a little when caught up in time travel, Hurley being the one who wrote Star Wars, and something about sticking a cork in a hole, but at its peak, Lost was addictive television at its most bingeable.

Why Fans Will Miss Thursdays Without The CW's 'Beauty' And Her 'Beast'
On September 15th, Beauty and the Beast aired its series finale on the CW, leaving an empty slot on addicted fans' viewing schedule. The drama, loosely based upon the series created by Ron Koslow in 1987, focused on the impossible relationship between a police detective turned federal agent and a doctor who'd been turned into a "beast" due to a failed military experiment. Though the ratings were never that strong, the series earned a People's Choice Awards in 2013 for Favorite New TV Drama, and in 2014, 2015 and 2016 for Favorite Sci-fi/Fantasy Show.

We've all noticed that this season of Game of Thrones has, to say the least, given us plenty of answers to questions we've wondered for several seasons. Yet, the speed in which we've gotten the answers has been polarizing among fans. Some love that there are so many payoffs in such a short time after devoting countless hours to these characters, while others have heavily criticized the show's pacing. After the action-packed episode "Beyond the Wall" was released last Sunday, director Alan Taylor offered his perspective on the show's timelines during an interview with Variety.
