celebrities
From Hitchcock to Stephen King, a roundup of the who's who in horror; all about celebrities flaunting their loudest screams and most nightmarish scenes.
Stephen King:
It's Stephen King! He doesn't need an intro. A household name since the early 80s, and a staple in the horror community. The creator of IT has brutally carved himself into the hearts and minds of people all over the world. From cosplayers, to cartoonists, there isn't an artist alive who hasn't paid homage to The King.

Sight Unseen
In some ways, Stephen King's stories are like looking through a keyhole, and having a cockroach crawl out onto your face. There is much more substance to these stories than a simple glimpse through a keyhole can reveal. I already reviewed Stephen King Goes to the Movies, an anthology of short stories, on Goodreads (lol gotta plug my brand), so I thought that I should do something a little more on this site. I chose to observe one of the King's favorite themes; the abject subverting the mundane into something much more than meets the eye. Across the collection of short stories, all characters, settings and even small props, are not what they seem. They are in fact, something more.

A Filmmaker's Biography: James Wan
As you may all know, James Wan is one of my personal favourite directors because of his contribution to the post-modern horror film using almost hitchcockian efforts. James Wan’s contribution to modern horror and post-modern horror are pretty unrivalled and his work on the “Conjuring” universe and “Insidious” series just go to show how much he is involved with the process even if he isn’t entirely responsible for the film or in the role of director.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Vincent Price
Vincent Price was one of the most successful horror actors of all time. Known for such titles as House of Wax, House of Usher, Edward Scissorhands, and The Masque of the Red Death, his career spanned decades, and remains the stuff of legend. His trademark mustache, "evil" laugh, and sonorous voice became a part of pop culture that remains well-known long after his death.

Analyzing Jordan Peele's Tweets
I have been a fan of Jordan Peele since he and Keegan Michael Key were on MAD TV. I’m not saying this to prove myself as a dedicated fan, I’m saying this because I never would have guessed that he would come out with a masterpiece like Get Out. Yet, we were given the Oscar-winning film in 2017 and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it. Now he has graced us with a new film, Us, which some people expected to have a similar political tone. This is for a number of reasons: The pre-screenings exclusive to black media influencers called “Us First,” the presence of Winston Duke and Lupita N’yongo (fresh out of Wakanda), and the simple fact that Us is coming out right into the shadow that Get Out left behind.

Superman's Ghost Haunts House
Do you believe in ghosts? It's a question that people often ask with an incredulousness usually reserved for a toddler who doesn't obey their parent. True believers tell tales of ghosts that they have encountered and what it was like when the spirit presented themselves to the believer, yet skeptics will not change their mind. Until they are confronted with a spirit themselves, like tenants who have lived in George Reeves's old home in Los Angeles.

Look Who's Walking Now: 'The Walking Dead' Creator Suing AMC In $1 Billion Lawsuit
It appears that it isn't just baseball bat-wielding madmen and eye-patched psychopaths that are out for blood when it comes to AMC's The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead may be AMC's flagship show and sitting pretty as the most-watched show on network television, but the latest bout of behind-the-scenes drama could bury our zombie big-hitter like its decomposing walkers.

George A. Romero: The Internet Mourns a Friend, a Family Member, and a Role Model
In 1968 the world changed when a single man with a vision to change the horror genre forever pushed his glasses up, leaned forward, and began his first film as a director. George Romero, the grandfather of zombie films, has no doubt touched our hearts in ways we may never have imagined. His love for horror stands well known as he helped pioneer the genre in ways never imagined in his astonishing 77 years of life.

Bros Before Shows: 'Sons Of Anarchy' Creator Slams 'The Walking Dead' For 'C*nt Move'
Foul language is never acceptable, but Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter is clearly more than a little peeved at AMC. The screenwriter has slammed The Walking Dead big wigs for a "c*nt move" regarding the sacking of Frank Darabont. Some may have noticed a change in tone in #TheWalkingDead between Seasons 1 and 3, which could have something to do with the behind-the-scenes drama and the very public dismissal of Darabont.
