monster
Monsters and horror go hand in hand; explore horrific creatures, beasts and hairy scaries like Freddy Krueger, Frankenstein and far beyond.
We are being watched.
You have probably heard of grey extraterrestrials; the ones with big heads, black eyes, small bodies, slender limbs, etc. I have heard numerous accounts of alleged extraterrestrial encounters over the internet. Of course, I never actually believed any of these stories myself. I found the concept of grey aliens very interesting, and slowly began to have some belief in the subject, actually I more or less pretended to believe, and it was fun to believe. Deep within me though, I never truly believed in the existence of grey aliens, or any kind of extraterrestrial life in our solar system.

Meeting new people.
Kevin wanted to look away, but would not allow himself to do so. This was his doing, not that he didn't feel on some level that it wasn't deserved, he just knew that he had to see this through to its bloody end. He could feel the blood curdling screams in his bones, and still he would not allow himself to look away.

The Count
My lovely Mina Do you remember the dream I told you of in our previous communique? Well, it accosted me once again the very next night. Two nights in a row mind you. Two nights in a row I saw it. It was always at the same place on the horizon. And with the wind behind it, it was moving straight toward me. When I awoke that second morning I decided to investigate further. I looked into it through my brand-new set of Encyclopedia Britannica and discovered the vessel I had been dreaming of was a schooner.

My Sighting of the Pope Lick Monster
The Pope Lick Monster There is a Train Bridge outside of Fischerville Kentucky, near Louisville. My family moved in about 10 miles from the bridge in way back in 1959. A new neighborhood in the middle of what had been farmland for over a century. It was not a well-developed area at the time, there were only a few houses on each street, with large farms on the main roads in the area. Our property on a converted farm was apparently a potato farm in the past, because when we dug a garden we always found potatoes, that were almost fossils. Since Louisville was settled by a lot of Irish and German Catholic families, potatoes were a staple of both diets.

Tommy
This is freaking me out, just writing about it, because it brings everything back, as though I were back there again. It was the summer of 1988, I was 22 and our neighbors, Mr. And Mrs. Standish, who lived in the huge old house next door to us, went on vacation for two weeks, out of country, and being a nice (and broke) guy, I agreed to feed their pets in their absence. In their back yard they had 12 chickens and three baby goats, but in the house, there were six cats, two parakeets and a turtle named Tommy, after their beloved Australian shepherd dog that died a couple years before.

...never going back
This is a story about an experience I had back in the spring of 2017. For the record, I have never told anyone about what happened or what I saw, for me it was just too crazy, so frightening that I was sure that even my best friends and family wouldn’t believe me, so I have never told a soul about my experience on that day.

The Wendigo Named Deborah
The tangle of roots and bone stirred. Its great eye rolled around under its closed lid. Its claws twitched, the toes on its hind feet spreading as the great paw flexed. Its arms were placed neatly at its side, snout and face tilted up to the ceiling, long legs stretching down the cold, metal table.
