ME MYSELF AND I

"ME"

This is the most difficult challenge I have ever done, because I consider myself humble, to the outside world at least.

#1 - I Consider Myself Humble

However, I wonder if I am really all that humble, to my inner self. I tend to notice things about others that I admire and that I find offensive as well. I wonder if that reflects my own personality.

#2- I Like Myself

I like myself, that one is hard to say. However, I accept that everyone is different, and I also admire those differences. However, saying I like myself seems so self-centered and conceited, however, they say that is a sign of a healthy person. You have to like yourself before you can like someone else.

I am leaving my Granddaughter a book of wisdom, and in it I encourage her to accept the differences in others, as she would hope they would accept hers.

I will most likely add to the "Book of Wisdom", this challenge entry, and tell her to try it herself.

It is like a life self discovery, and I want to thank Rick Henry Christopher for sponsoring it. I am learning about myself or forcing the revelation about looking inward and acknowledging what I see. It is difficult to say the least. However, I have found Vocal.Media to be a learning experience and that can't be a bad thing. This challenge is not different, and it proves you are never too old to learn.

#3 - I Consider Myself Capable of Great Love

Even as a child, I was considered sensitive. I found it easy to love.

I consider myself capable of great love, loyalty and compassion. I think that I might have had issues with that train of thought when it came to others. I have noticed that others that love less, I secretly judge that, if only in my darker thoughts. That tells me a lot about myself, that I judge people and I call it my dark thoughts.

#4- I Consider Myself To Be Loyal

I myself notice when people are not loyal and in my dark spot in my brain, I do judge people for those I feel are not loyal enough. I've wondered if people notice that in me, that I am loyal to them, and do they appreciate it.

#5 - I Consider Myself To Be Compassionate

Compassion is a big one, and those who do not have this quality, I not only acknowledge that in my dark spot, but also in my sunny spot and any spot inside me. I simply don't understand why a human being does not have compassion for another human being, or animal for that matter.

#6 - I Put Family First

I don't understand how and why people just do not go all out for their Children and Grandchildren. They are your link to the future and the most rewading thing you will ever do. They are a gift.

#7 - I Am a Lover of Nature

I am a lover of nature and plant life, as I have indicated by the photo above. This is a rose bush, that I planted last year, and it is absolutely beautiful.

I love everything to do with nature, a beautiful sunny day, flowers, even the rain and clouds. I feel you can find such beauty in nature, and I take my own photos for my stories now, and I find that they are unique.

#8- I Suppose I Have Courage

I am not sure about this one, because I am a very emotional person and I think that anyone in my shoes would have felt the same way. I think I proved that if you make someone feel they have nothing else to loose, that is a person that is full of courage.

My oldest son was brutally murdered at 44 years old. I walked the dangerous streets of criminals to find his murderer, and find him I did.

#9 - I Love God and My Country

I believe God is watching us always and he certainly was with me when I was walking those dangerous streets, I didn't get a scratch on me.

I love my country and I am proud of my family members who have fought for this great land.

#10 Writing

I told my Granddaughter to follow her dreams and believe in herself, before she got married and started a family. She asked me what I always wanted to do, and I told her I wanted to be a journalist and write about people in far away lands.

I guess that Vocal and the writing platforms are the next best thing.
