Astronomia Magna (1537): "The stars must obey man and be subject to him, and not he to the stars. Even if he is a child of Saturn and if Saturn has overshadowed his birth, he can master Saturn and become a child of the sun."

Paracelsus ensures that the stars are not here to govern our lives but is more of a guiding practice to what paths are available. To account for free will, we are simple beings who are presented with choices, and depending on whether the route is followed or not, we may be changed irrevocably. We can only hope that we will change for the better so humankind can progress forward.

I am born under an Aries sun with a moon of Capricorn.

My particular birthday chart hit the nail right on the head; I am an intellectual caretaker. An adventurous thinker, compelled to seek knowledge and truths to build interests and move forward in life. Familial bonds are cherished, absorbing the supportive and affectionate framework surrounding me to provide a stable, solid surface for taking flight into my future. Emotional vitality stems from this support system, and when it was unstable, I was an absolute wreck; granted, I still am, but I am far from where I started and still have a long way to go. Aries are usually cheerful, balanced, and popular. There are two sides of the Aries nature: a side that desires a happy, quiet domestic life, causing them generously to nurture the needs of close friends and family members, and the side that adopts a determinedly individualistic approach to the broader world and fiercely fights for those issues that motivate them.

I learned an essential saying: You can't pour from an empty cup. I'm guilty of wanting to lavish my other half and friends with the assistance I wish I could have received in my lowest times when I was plagued by naivety. An underlying matter of interest with many of those born on my birthday concerns humanitarian issues such as inequality, racism, transphobia, and sexism, to name a few.

Being a transman who came to this realization in Arkansas during the raw mental time of puberty, I learned several things about societal views on sexual orientation but never acted due to my absolute focus on making my body fit the mental image of myself. Waking up every morning to see a meat suit that /wasn't me\ in the mirror caused a dark development in my psyche. In retrospect, I always had my nose in a book, learning everything I could about the human body and mind, watching anime, or losing myself in intricate art projects of all mediums. I wanted to understand why I felt the way I did, but everyone else around me was more concerned with whether they were a size 0 or fashionable enough to attract a mate. Meanwhile, I flew gasoline into hell to propel myself towards transitioning, so I had a valid reason to keep living. It was a miserable time, but I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't experienced it as I did. The daily struggle of public school society couldn't stand a chance against these horns.

Progress is the plan, and we tend to go full steam to the goal even if it means exhaustion. Leadership potential soars for Aries due to powers of logic, organizational skills, and unwavering steadfastness. I tend to organize to being obsessive over the workflow of areas in our abode, and I am genuinely thankful for my boyfriend's patience. I was usually the student leader when it came to scholarly team efforts but kicked myself in the mouth when I take on too much work and get overwhelmed. I bring a solid backing to imaginative visions that I want to immortalize on canvas or via journaling or blogging when it comes to art. Sometimes I work so long on a piece that I end up hating it because it didn't match my end product's mental image. Lately, I have been trying to develop a routine, so I am doing different arts, like painting or resin molding, then writing on vocal, on other days to avoid burnout.

I'm always looking for new words to use that trigger a sense in the reader, bringing me ultimate joy. My favorite thing to hear is that my work made someone /feel\ something. I grow from constructive criticism and always strive to learn something new every day. Dedication to my craft and academic studies brings me to a state of contentment where I can add care to every single detail. I am truly blessed to have this ability. Many of my close friends state admiration for the introspection, wisdom, and nurturing I display, but I often take on too much. Aries' vices tend to be overworking or easily overburdening themselves to the point of self-sacrifice. My sense of humor and gentle demeanor attracts many, but I use tact in my communication to create definite boundaries. As an empath, I realize limitations are essential and the most commonly over-stepped thing in society these days. I work with only so much energy, and honestly, at the risk of sounding selfish, I need that energy for myself first and foremost. One must be able to tell someone to go to hell in a manner that they are elated to take the trip there or insert wisdom in a way that doesn't blatantly call someone an idiot or seem demeaning or degrading to them. I strive for peace in my immediate circle, but I don't take anyone's shit and choose my battles wisely.

The traits of Aries, who is also traditionally the first sign of the zodiac, are positive polarities, so we can most definitely be heated with emotions, vitality, enthusiasm and bring the potential for impatience, impulsiveness, and outright destruction. I seamlessly associate with all of these associations but not exceptionally severely. Instant gratification drives my impatience, and if I'm not able to achieve my goals, then I keep trying with fervor. The planetary rule of an Aries constellation is Mars, associated with the Greek god of war and bloodshed, Ares. Understandably this sign is seen as a total hothead, but while I occasionally demonstrate this spicy side, I count my blessings being balanced by a Capricorn moon.

A double horned wonder; A ram and a goat-fish combo.

Capricorns are associated with earth and negative polarity, while Aries vibe with fire and positive polarity. Saturn rules the Capricorns, equating to the Greek god Kronos who is popularly identified as "Father Time" or the "Grim Reaper". Capricorns' sigil is sometimes used to represent winter solstice which led to the association with death from winter's cold. Capricorn's other characteristics include a basic desire for material security, manifested by focused ambition, tenacity, and steady reliability, as well as strong loyalty and practical skills-- gifts of the element of earth. With the positive comes the negatives in pessimism or valuing career achievements over personal relationships.

Thankfully I have a healthy balance between the two signs, and they very much relate to who I am as a person. I strive to continue on my journey of love and light to strengthen my emotional strength of purpose with old and new wisdom. I still have so much to learn, and I am grateful to have such a drive and guidance from the stars.
