“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use it, the more you have.” Spoken so eloquently by Maya Angelou and carried out daily by me. There is still some mystery about the amount of passion I have for creating things from scratch. I first started sewing when I was young and my grandmother taught me. There is a tiny stuffed turtle that still sits on my self as the very first thing I ever did. And even then, I remember deviating from the pattern and making it my own. That sense of individuality and ability to make it my own has stuck with me through all of my creative processes. There is no discrimination when it comes to creating something. I love making my own cards, painting, woodwork, cross-stitch, baking and jewelry making.

Andy Warhol Art Andy Warhol actually born as Andrew Warhola was born on 6th of August 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was just a 2 room apartment where Andy was born. His Parents Andrej and Julia Warhola had 3 children. All of them were boys. Andy being the youngest was loved by everyone in the family. In 1934 the Warhola family had to move to the Dawson Street in Pittsburgh. Beside their new home there was church St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic. Artists are the voices of those who don’t have one or choose not to own it. Even when an artist reflects on their own story, they do so in such a way that it resonates with us — it inspires, shocks, entertains, or teaches us. That’s the ultimate purpose, anyway.

Passionately Creative
Thinking about what my number one passion would be is hard for me. I have so many things that I love doing and that just make my heart smile. I would almost say that my passion would be writing, because I’m a soon-to-be author and also a for-fun musician that writes both the melodies and the lyrics. But there’s just something else that makes that not sound right, so I had to do some thinking before I came to my final conclusion.

"Somewhere over the rainbow is a land where the dreams you dare to dream do come true. "- Wizard of Oz Born an artist, from as far back as I can remember I have been creative. Often my school assignments would be covered in pictures with a teacher never needing to find my name because the work stuck out like a sore thumb. In most classes this was almost like a deal we would make with each other, me and the teacher that is. Focusing on anything that was not project orientated was like reeling in a fish with a line that wasn't strong enough, a difficult task for even the most experienced teacher. So being able to draw at the same time as listening was very helpful. This was a deal mostly made in math classes because I could find the art in almost any other. Yes graphs and geometry can be made beautiful, truly anything can be but in science, social studies, English, AT, Cultural arts, etcetera, it was much easier to find.
