PAY IT FORWARD:: Menlei Creations
The business I’m highlighting for the Pay It Forward challenge is Menlei Creations. My name is Freda Menlei. My business website is www.menleicreations.com. We are on YouTube @ Menlei Creations. I’m also reachable on Instagram & Facebook @MenleiCreations. I create and distribute Virgin Custom lace wigs, as well as Bundles & Eyelashes. I create by hand or machine with client’s choice of hair type, texture, grade, color & style. I started this business when I was 18 years old. I created this video to give a little more information on what I do and how it’s done. I wanted to create this video to showcase my passion of beauty and service to others through hair !Growing up in a middle class family, my mother raised me as the oldest and my 3 other siblings by herself. My grandmother was seamstress in West Africa, Liberia and my mother quickly took up after her profession doing the same. Because I was raised around strong women who made a way out of no way, I was inspired. I’ve always been a entrepreneur at heart, growing up around strong women made me want to create a life of my own. I’ve always been interested in beauty & hair. So I decided to used my enjoyment of creating my own business by using my passions. This contest helped bring me out of my hermit mode. I chose my business to highlight during these times because I’ve been growing tired of doing everything by myself. This virus definitely took my by surprise changing my plans from working harder to worker smarter from within. From marketing strategies, investments, and product development etc, I had to realize until I changed my mindset about business and money, I wouldn’t be able to grow. I’ve haven’t been able to find my niche with marketing and support, from having to forward my posts 1000 times on Facebook to sharing my website to every random comment on Instagram Hair pages. I decided to use this platform to spread more light to my business and what it means to me. From being my biggest supporter, customer, & friend during this epidemic, I feel like I deserve a time to celebrate how far I’ve come. Although it’s been a great introduction to entrepreneurship and learning to trust my inner knowledge... I’m looking for way to build my business the right way. I’ve saved the dates for the best Entrepreneurship seminars, podcasts & Webinars so I’m able to not only build my business but help teach others. Learning to trust and believe in yourself throughout any and every hardship. I’ve had to push down the negative people who didn’t believe in my business and continue through positive perseverance. I feel this contest is perfect for my business, considering my plans for expansion and growth. I’m excited to be able to be apart of this contest. I’m hoping to bring more traffic and support to my business and future business endeavors. My number one goal is to serve those who love being different and showing off their many different styles & alter-egos. I love being apart of a customer’s wedding, prom, anniversary, birthday or even a everyday occasion for those with alopecia. I’m happy to serve and make everyone feel as beautiful as they are on the inside. Menlei Creations is just a starter on what could be with the right group of support and love. I’m happy to be able to join the many others in showing the world what makes us happy! Please be sure to help support my business with a simple like, follow & or share on any social media or website platforms !

Reciprocity The New World Order
Reciprocity A New World Order “We all know sometimes life’s hates and troubles can make you wish you were born in another time and space but you bet your life times that and twice it’s double that God knew exactly where he wanted you to be placed. So, make sure when you say you’re in it but not of it you’re not helping this earth a place sometimes called hell. Change your words into the truths and then change that truth into love and maybe our children’s grandchildren and their great-great grandchildren will tell I’ll be loving you”- As by Stevie Wonder

Feeding the Local Community:
Samantha Jany always wanted to be a farmer. When she got married to Rodger Jany in 2004, she married into a family farm business that had been growing and selling Christmas trees and other products in central New Jersey since 1920. At Simonson Farms, just outside of Princeton, Sam helped out with the farm for a couple of years until she decided to launch her own part of the business: growing vegetables. She provided vegetable boxes to local families through a CSA program as well as selling some of her vegetables at wholesale markets.

Squaremeal
Introduction. The COVID19 pandemic has altered the global economic landscape, albeit negatively. Granted, some companies are still cashing out in this trying time; most businesses are struggling to escape the COVID19 induced financial quagmire. One such business is the UK restaurant named Squaremeal. The restaurant was ranked the 35th best restaurant in the city of Liverpool. We have undertaken to provide practical suggestions to help Squaremeal escape from the stormy seas of low sales that are threatening its existence. Practical suggestion. The solution to the problem bedeviling Squaremeal is not far-fetched. The company must alter its business model to cater for a diverse range of customers in a COVID19 affected society. Here are practical tips to help: • Squaremeal should focus on selling immune strengthening food items. • Be customer-oriented as much as they can. • Concert effort to expand customer base. • Include option for online orders • Aggressive online advertising. • Sell food-making tutorials. We shall expatiate on the points listed above. Immune strengthening food items. It is a notorious fact that immune systems have a lot to do with our bodies ’ resistance to diseases. A strong immune system will ward off infections and help fight them to a standstill if they manage to enter the body. The rapid spread of COVID19 has necessitated a dire need for people to protect themselves and their families. Is there any better way to defend themselves than by strengthening their immune system? It will do squaremeal a whole lot of good to rise to the task and deliver immune strengthening food to the people. This is where food scientists and nutritionists are needed. The company should incorporate their services into their business model. Be customer-oriented as much as possible. Successful businesses have one thing in common; they are customers oriented. They identify the need of their customers and rise to it. squaremeal’s customers, like most people in the world, are going through difficult times. They are restricted from social gatherings; some are on the verge of losing their jobs due to unavoidable downsize. Squaremeal should let her customers know that they are not alone; humanitarian services like donating disinfectants will help plaster the business’s name on her customers heart. Concerted effort to increase customers base. As states earlier, the restaurant is located in the city of Liverpool, which has an approximate population of 5 million people. There is a large community of vegetarians, black people, Asians, Muslims, and other minorities. What will happen if squaremeal offers a recipe that appeals to these minorities? Imagine vegetarians being able to walk in and order for a vegan diet, imagine a Chinese man doing the same. The restaurant's customer base will surely be increased, and that equals more sales. Aggressive online advertising. This is the corollary of the first suggestion. What is the use of a product when prospective customers are not even aware of its existence? What do you think people do at home when there is a lockdown? Well, they spend time online, trying to do whatever people do online. That is why Squaremeal should aggressively market its immune, strengthening food items online. Include options for online orders. Surprisingly, squaremeal has not inculcated this to its business model already. Movement is greatly restricted during this trying time. Customers will appreciate being able to place an order for their favourite meal online. The cost of delivery is usually added to the price of the food. The restaurant's website needs to be updated to allow this and other options. Sell food-making tutorials. Due to the lockdown, people have ample time on their hands. Squaremeal can turn this around by offering for sale tutorials on how to cook exotic intercontinental dishes. The tutorials can be offered for sale through its website or other web-based platforms like Udemy. Conclusion. Squaremeal, like its counterpart world over, has suffered an enormous loss; there is still ample time to turn things around. Throughout history, we have seen periods like this birth resilient and prosperous businesses. Squaremeal can use this opportunity to turn things around for the best. A snitch in time they say saves nine. An alteration on the company’s business model to reflect the above suggestions will go a long way to rejuvenating the business and maybe improve its ratings on Tripadvisor.
