To Be A Great Writer, We Must First Transform The Reader
There's a significant transformation that comes with writing: the reader. It's one thing to entertain yourself with stories, articles, and blogs, but it's another to put someone else in that seat. To invite them into this made-up world and let them see what you've created. There's a thrill in watching their reaction, learning what they take away from it all.

Free Vocal challenges?
When I first stumbled across the Vocal platform I was so excited! I had finally found a way that I could make some extra money and expand my writing skills. I had read a review about the site and was really excited to join and start writing away. To my surprise when I looked more into it I discovered that it could be difficult to earn any sort of money if you are not a Vocal+ member. I get some of the differences, but some of them made me feel discouraged in my journey here. I thought to myself, "What if there was a way to meet in the middle to offer free members some more added incentives?" And what better way to bring my ideas to Vocal's attention than to write my own story about it? While I know that it may be a stretch I figured it wouldn't hurt to possibly get some things improved for free members of the community.

How to Make Millions Writing
I read a lot of articles with headlines like the one above. The writer boasts that they've generated vast amounts of money by writing online for only 30 minutes a day. The writer is always eager to share the secret to their success. So generous of them. All you need to do is click on the link to sign-up for their $695 two-week online course titled, "How to Make Millions Writing Online." And the price is only $199 if you enroll within the next hour. A digital timer will then pop up and begin the count down, ticking off the seconds until decision time.

Summer
Its hot. The summer sun produces shimmering and oiled rays when it hits the pavement. But I'm not on the pavement, I'm in my backyard and it wont be hot enough in muggy Missouri to produce those humid arcs that signify hard to breathe hot when the sun hits the ground until mid August.

Your characters are important to your story, you could even say you wouldn't have a story without them But have you ever read a story and not been able to stand one of the characters? Sometimes this is on purpose… sometimes not, but sometimes it's because they are the type of characters your readers just don't like.
