5 Wedding Photography Props You Should Thrift. Top Story - April 2021.
The misconception that thrift stores or secondhand items are of lower quality is simply absurd. Over the past four years of thrifting, I've found items to be better valued, more affordable, and certainly more sustainable than their brand-new, mass-produced counterparts.

It's I Do, But at What Cost?
Every item you own has a story to tell. A story about how it was made, who owned it first, what was the original price, why did the item's previous owner sell it or gave it away? I'm talking about those thrift finds. New or old. Every item's story deserves to be told. Today I am inspired to write about my latest thrift find; my wedding dress.

The First Date of a Lifetime
"Here I am again…alone.", I thought to myself as I opened my bottle of Merlot. Bright Cellars Merlot always seems to lift my spirits. I just couldn't believe he was late again. This man whom I'm so deeply in love with constantly keeps me waiting every time he goes anywhere. I don't know how much more I can take.

Open/Closed (pt. 2)
I've decided to continue documenting the progression of our open marriage here. I'll be updating it in near real-time. The past few days have been rough for me. We quickly scrambled for our bags while she asked our 6-years old son to pick up his bag and lunch-pack. In that same vein, she screamed out to the bikeman, “We’re coming!”

Hannah's Cottage
As I looked out from our kitchen window, I saw the rain had stopped, and the clouds had begun to make way for the sun. The tea kettle began to whistle just as I finished buttering my cinnamon muffin. Sitting next to me, waiting for any crumbs to fall, was my little girl Kerry, our chocolate lab. "Sorry, girl, no crumbs today. You know your mom has been on me about my messes in the kitchen." Her tail started wagging, and she gazed at me with those big brown eyes. "You are just like your mother. I cannot say no to her either, when she looks at me with her deep green eyes."
