Finally Decided

Have you ever had the long drawn out process of trying to decide who you wanted to be in life? That in depth conversation to determine if you would be someone of greatness, or just someone of mediore vision. Trying to find out who and where and what you are even well into your 30s to some is childish. But let me tell you I do not feel we ever fully know who we are in life. In reading this I'd like you to ask yourself these three questions. 1) Who do I desire to become? 2) Am I doing all I can to achieve who I desire to become? 3) What steps can I take to finally decide who I am destined to be?

I am not one for downplaying anyone's dream. Infact I love the quote that says " If your dreams dont scare you, Then your dreams aren't big enough." That is my favorite quote because I am a dreamer, a seeker, and sometimes a slacker. Its like I see my dreams right in front of me, and for some reason Im afraid to walk closer to them. Maybe that fear of success is real after all. I have always wanted to be more successful. Not just for the financial perks, but for the ability to say " I made it". I can say those words in small ways. The fact I have two published poetry books on Amazon publishing, or the fact I comepleted school twice. Yet, even in these accomplishments I am still unhappy with self.

The idea that someone can see succeed and not be happy is possible. Don't let anyone tell you different. I still desire more. To be greater then I can ever imagine. I love writing, I love poetry, I can take beautiful photos, and create memorable montages. And still this does not make me happy. I did however determine that I am happiest when writing. Getting out my feelings. Maybe someone will see it, maybe someone won't. But Its not where you start its where you finish. That ladies and gentlemen has brought me to Vocal. I feel like I just need to get all my feelings out. And I understand that sometimes those who read your material are often those that relate or have gone through the same as things as you. So here I am. Writing with the hope you will read, writing with the hope you understand.

My hope is you are searching for your true self just as me. Your seeking to find who your meant to be and aiming toward that direction. If I may, please do me this favor and pursue your dreams. Dont let anyone tell you different, and let anyone tell you your dreams are unreachable. Thats for you to decide. As, of today 11/13/2020, Ive finally decided I am a writer. In every sense of the word. So I ask you today, Who do you decide to be? And what ever that is be happy in it, and always aim to be your greatest self.
