Are Other People Stopping Your Dreams?
Model, actor, designer, carpenter, engineer, screenwriter, author, activist, business owner, artist, spokesperson. Do any of these sound like you? No, they don't. How do I know this, you say? Well, you would not have clicked on this post if you had become/are doing something to become the person you want to be. The names listed above are different "you's," different "you's" that don't exist. Can they exist? Yes, but why don't they? They don't exist because you are too scared.

The Importance of Starting Over
“Sometimes you just need a fresh start. A new beginning. A clean slate. Just get rid of everything going wrong and make it go right. Sometimes, you just need to delete a number, colour your hair, quit your job. Purge all the negative things and focus on all the positives. Just do it”

Having a Totally Original Idea: Is It Possible?
Having a genuinely original idea is extremely hard. My friends have argued to me that having a genuinely original idea nowadays is impossible. Their argument is that yes, new things will continue to pop up here and there but they’re all based on previous ideas. They don't believe that truly original ideas can still exist anymore. I think this is a lazy theory that will restrict their own creative ambitions.

Revealing Myself Through This Journey
I admit that it has not been as an easy journey to get where I am today, but I am grateful to have joined the roller coaster ride otherwise known as college. America has provided me the tools, allowing me to work hard and choose the lifestyle I want. All of us have goals we want to accomplish. Everyone has different ambitions that allow them to overcome adversity. My goal is to receive my Associates and Bachelors in Science, earn a doctoral degree, participate in giving back to the community, and inspire others. I want to put my degree to practical use and appreciate the qualities of my life. My life experiences have taught me to accept myself for who I am and grow. Hopefully, revealing myself will help inspire others overcoming difficulties in life. After all, receiving an education now plays a vital role than we can ever imagine and our differences can prepare us for the best and the worst yet to come.

$2.25
I walked hastily through the automatic double doors and hopped into my vehicle as quickly as I could. After throwing the small yellow plastic bag into the passenger seat I fumbled to put the keys into the ignition and fasten my seat belt. Taking a deep breath I settle back into the seat but find myself pushed back into nervousness and embarrassment as I hear the sounds of people exiting out the front of the store. I keep my head down, not wanting to make eye contact and hoping that they weren't looking. From the corner of my eye, I realize that it wasn't the people who were behind me and with a sigh of relief I pull into reverse and exit the parking lot.

The Art of Gratitude
Gratitude is something that many people fail to practice. Every day you can hear a glimpse of a conversation and hear someone complaining about some circumstance or another. Usually it is a small inconvenience upon their life. It is very easy to complain about every bad thing in life, but many people find it very difficult to be grateful for all the small things in life. There are so many people in this world that are worse off than you are right now. Even the fact that you have access to technology to read this article right now is something you probably took for granted. Everyone has something to be grateful for and many people forget to acknowledge all the good things in their life. People like to focus on the bad things; it is more interesting than the good things.

Find Your Place
My father, my brother, and I all traveled to Washington state one year. The only time I had ever seen it was when iCarly showed the Seattle space needle on TV. It was a place that I had always wanted to see. I got to help my dad pick the destination, so I suggested Seattle. He thought about it for a while and then he did his research, and my brother and I helped pick out different hikes and trails to do in a few different places in Washington.

How to Manifest
Step 1: Find out what it is that you want to manifest. For many, this can be the most difficult part of the process. The Universe cannot bring you your desires if you don’t know the absolute specifics of what you want. If you are having a problem identifying your desire, think about (briefly) the things that you don’t want and write a list with the opposites of those things. Make sure your desire is something that you most definitely want with absolute certainty, or you will waste your time and energy with conflicting emotions.

Everyday Things to Be Grateful For
One of the key components of attracting positivity into your life is experiencing gratitude. Often, we fixate on the things that we don’t have rather than celebrating the abundance that surrounds us each and every day, which can throw us into a vicious cycle of feeling and attracting a lack of or less than we would like. Below, I have compiled a list of 10 things that most of us can feel grateful for this very moment.
