Quarantine life update
It's really important we relearn the art in resting and relaxing Man has 2020 been a wild ride... I started this year off the same as I am sure the rest of you did. You know the BIG New Year Resolutions and a plan of how you will RULE the year, take that trip of a lifetime, or cross things off your bucket list... However the switch was flipped!! Like many of us, we are sitting at home wondering what the next step is or when the world will go back of normal while on the other hand we still have people fighting for everyone's safety day to day. Being considered an essential worker myself and being put on lockdown I want to give the biggest thank you to those who continued on despite the fear and risks! Aside from our medical teams I want to personally thank anyone who has worked to keep our stores clean, families fed, and even those of you who have helped create shelters for those in high need. WE ALL THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND GRACIOUSNESS TO CONTINUE TO SERVE OTHERS FIRST NO MATTER WHAT YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION IS.

Kissing Las Vegas
When the downtown of my city opens again I will take my friends or companions and we will follow the night to where the wind blows! Wether it be a spontaneous adventure to The Strip, Fremont Street, a complementary show at a nightclub, or a view with music of the Bellagio Fountains and taking selfies with costumed strangers. With the different possibilities in the air we won’t need a mask for, we will see the life in and outside of the casinos again as it was before COVID19 and follow what the nightlife has to offer us.

Day One
I'm familiar with the way a single life moves in cycles. I've watched mine start and stop multiple times. Sometimes, it's my health. Sometimes, it's my relationships. The year before and after giving birth contains its own series of beginnings and endings.

Home: To True Bistro
It’s here! It is over. I wake up to bright sunny skies at little after 7 in the morning. Well, Dave the Cat King, wakes me up for his breakfast. I attempt to turn over only to hear meows saturating my studio apartment. I rise with a slight attitude. Opening the blinds, I see the trees moved by a light breeze and know that the winds won't suffocate me.

Sign of The Times
Sunlight. Oh—how I craved to feel the sun’s rays on my skin without worries. How the thought of running around freely with no law holding me back— pestered my mind. I would go on walks through my neighborhood but it didn't feel the same, it became passionless. Seeing the same bland houses around me started driving me mad.

Fly Like A Butterfly
Better days are coming, sooner than you think. I keep telling myself that. A better day I will wake up, staring at my ceiling, thinking to myself: this is not just any day, this is going to be a post 'apocalyptic' day. I stare out the window seeing those around me out and about. Part of me ponders...should I venture out fully? Should I still stay recluse in my bubble? Or should I take that slight chance and go out fully back into the pre corona virus life? I know there will now be a new normal. I do have the right tools: mask, sanitizer, and gloves. I should be okay right? It's funny before, none of that mattered so much until now. Now we have question ourselves prior to running our everyday normal errands. But I want to conquer the day, and accomplish all what I had put on hold before! This will be a better day. This will be a day of new normal as I know it now, as we all know it.

Is it a Sacrifice? Or an Investment?
“The cause of most of man’s unhappiness is sacrificing what he wants now for what he wants most.” Gordon B Hinkley I once read an article that said those that are willing to postpone satisfaction are significantly more successful in the long term than those that want immediate satisfaction. I 100% believe it.
