Stop Thinking like That!
There are many things to be said about life but, I’ll get straight to the point. STOP! Stop thinking your life is a big inconvenience. I, for one, used to do this all the time. I thought every bad or what seemed to be a negative thing that happened in my life was an inconvenience.

Confessions of a Shopaholic
There are a lot of women out there who adore shopping and buying all the pretty things. Recently, I have had a breakthrough. I went to the mall the other day and I realized how awful we are. We build these corporate buildings and we support them by buying these cheap clothes and we just keep buying more and more, but do we need these things? I was always taught that a woman must look nice. I realized I was a shopaholic that needs to stop. I do not need those pants, those shoes, and that shirt. I have all of those things, yet I feel the need to buy, to be a consumer. After going shopping however, it feels unfulfilling, so I make it up to buy more items. I now look at my room and see the amount of clothing that I need to donate. I haven't worn certain shirts in more than a year and yet I keep them. I sometimes walk into a store and I feel guilty if I don't buy anything. I have walked in and the salesperson let me know what is on sale and I feel I have to buy it because she wasted her time talking to me. I see these expensive clothes and I want to buy it all, but it is not even my style. We need to stop consuming more and more clothes, it is toxic. Why can't I be happy with five shirts and a tank top? I have no idea why I have this need. It was my boyfriend's graduation recently and I had to buy him a present, but the issue was that it was not grad season yet... so I had to get creative. I bought him a box of Purdy's chocolates and a teddy bear because I could not find a little graduation bear.

Human Suffering and Reality
Question: Why as human we suffer more than we have to and how understanding our reality can be a remedy. As humans, we can suffer in a variety of ways. The bad news is that suffering isn’t going away anytime soon. Suffering, for people, is a fundamental state of being, just as our sadness or our happiness. It exists because we ultimately have no control over much of anything and definitely not the external world.

Life Gets Worse When It's at Its Best
Some say nothing is worse than the death of a loved one, or the death of a relationship. Either is an almost unbearable loss of something, and someone that you cared a lot for. Memories are all that's left and they can be triggered by a photograph, a piece of art, a taste, or a scent. It's easy to understand why loss is so painful. Others say fear and abuse are the most painful. To live in a state of fear or hostility, there are so many horrible things, and a bittersweet realization is, it can always get better, and it can always get worse.

Blah Blah Blah
You know that saying, “ignorance is bliss.” I truly believe that to be true sometimes. If there is negativity in my peripheral, I immediately block it out. I can’t be around negativity for very long because I somehow get pulled back into that world of hurt, anger, and sadness. Don’t get me wrong, I will be there for you when you’re hurt, angry, or sad, but if I’m going about my day and negativity starts to creep in from a random source, I need to leave.

Time Stands Still
You're staring at the clock again. Hoping, no, wishing that it stops moving forward. That it doesn't go up one more hour, one more minute, one more second. Maybe it will freeze you think. That way you could lay there without wasting another minute. Because it's not wasteful if you are not using it.

Happiness
If you've been one of my readers for a while now, you would know I had a really rough time in the past year. I haven't ever taken time for myself after the breakup with my ex back in late 2017. I've been trying to better myself and do good by myself now though and I think I'm finally on the right path towards it. I'm on the path of happiness now, and I can't wait to see how far I'll get and how I'll end up.

The Balance Between Positive and Negative Energies
It was said—by Oscar Wild—"no good deed goes unpunished." Positive and negative forces in creation have to roughly balance each other, if the normal laws and rules of physics are to be accurate. God can be said to be the positive energy, Satan the negative; we should always be positive but never stop being vigilant, because the negative is never far away, and is always trying to catch up. If you do a good deed and stop to be proud of yourself, the negative will catch up while you congratulating yourself.

Our Surroundings
Growing up, I have learned that you can learn anything at any time and in any place. It has been especially amazing to learn that our environment can hold some glorious secrets. If we listen long enough, we will be able to uncover many of those secrets.
