happiness
Happiness, defined; things that help you find happiness, keep it, and share it with others.
Collective Dreaming
It's time to wake from our individual nightmares and begin dreaming as a collective. The more we strive for growth and unity, the more balance we will find in our lives and surroundings. Be love, resonate at the strongest frequency in the universe, and if you don't know how, fake it until you make it because deep down you will find something you love to connect with and open your heart. Once you let your heart lead, your mind will listen to your heart and not the other way around. When the mind takes charge it wants us to fail and suffer. Why do you think chaos reigns on Earth? We are constantly at war with our thoughts and projecting our fears onto one another. With a loving motivation we live in joy, understanding, and evolution. The time to choose love is and always has been NOW. Live in the present and breathe love in and out, through every cell in your body. Even if you only find five minutes a day to do this, you will start seeing results immediately. We are beings of love—it is natural for us to care, be selfless and want to share warmth. Next time you are faced with a dilemma or fork in the road, consider the collective of humanity and the collective pieces of yourself. You are multiple levels of being striving for equilibrium. Do what you can to be the best you possible. On the roads, be forgiving and find a peaceful frequency where you are not subject to other's behaviors. On the street, say A-LO-HA and wish beauty unto yourself and everyone and thing around you. This is a gateway mantra to achieving absolutely anything your heart desires. When you are frustrated in your job, find the things you are most interested in and let your heart guide the way. If it leads you out the door into another vocation, be thankful for all you have learned and for the courage to move on. Life is a gift. We must be precocious and respect its magic by following our dreams.

How to Be Perfectly Unhappy
Hope Even in the Darkest Places I know we all strive to be happy. People always ask each other, "Are you happy?" Most people I think just resort to saying yes. Why? Why do you think people just say yes? Well it's the normal thing to say but in reality they are not. Happiness should not be a concept we try to strive for, we should strive for that job, or strive to do good in a day, or strive to be content. If you're only happy on Wednesday and not any of the other days of the week, were you really happy at all? People say they are happy because the world made not being happy to be such a sad thing. You think I am happy? Hell no! Do I have good days and bad? I sure do! I just feel like if I constantly strive for something that I cannot reach all the time what's the point? It's like trying to reach the stars, it's a beautiful thing to look at but if we had it than it would burn us, it would be too good to be true. I love so many things I do and I also hate so many things I do but that is enough. I am never going to tell people I just want to be happy because I do not even know what that means, do you? It is just a word. It is okay to be perfectly unhappy, it is okay to say you're only ok. It is not okay to say you are happy but then the next day you cry the entire day. Strive to be content and the rest will follow:) I just think life is too short to just fail yourself. In life I do things I enjoy like voice acting, or working on my Youtube channel, or music. See those are things I always hold close to my heart but it does not mean they will give me the happiness I deserve. I think the reason for that is that as humans we will always want more and I think it was meant to be that way so that we may keep moving forward. I think if we were all just satisfied than we would basically just be in heaven. I challenge you to fly past the norm of being happy, I challenge you to ask yourself what would make me content today? What could I change in my life today, be it small or huge, that could change my life just a bit. Can I be kinder to people? Can I enjoy what I do a bit better? Should I change what I am doing because I mean if you're saying you want to be happy, but you're sticking to a job you hate, then you're sort of at a dead-end. Look at the mirror and ask am I the true self of who I want to be when I look in this mirror? We each have a path, some harder, some easier but that does not mean they cannot all lead to a beautiful and crazy and content life! I wrote this because I needed to make sense of this for myself too. I only now realized what will bring me enjoyment in this life, and thriving for that, as hard as it is may be sometimes, is some of the greatest joy I am experiencing. I thrive to do good in the world, to the best of my ability and to be grateful for all I have, even the small, dying car I have. Think now about what you really want and think hard and from here on make every day a step forward in achieving that thing and go live a life of peace and happy, just kidding, just go live.

Be Better, Not Bitter
We all go through pain and heartache in life. Hardships shape us whether we like it or not. It is up to us to define how it shapes us. Do we become bitter from our circumstances? Do we grow from the pain and allow it to make us better? There is a choice.

It's Okay to Not Be Okay
By now you probably already know that life does not always go the way you intend it to. Whether you didn’t get that awesome job you interviewed for, you got a flat tire on the way to take that test you are already late to, or maybe you had to sit in front of the bathtub and pick lice out of your daughter's hair for the third time this month. Life has its own way of bringing you down. Being in situations such as these can definitely put you in your feelings and cause you to be anxious.

The Zen of Motherhood
When I had my first child, I think like all first time moms, I always thought that I was on the brink of ruining my child forever with my horrible parenting skills. I wanted so badly to be able to waltz through motherhood as gracefully as all those TV moms did. I wanted to be put together and all yoga-ed out with my iced coffee, watching with simple joy as my perfectly clean and well-managed children play happily nearby.

Do Not Let People Kill Your Dreams
My dreams create visions that are explored through fantasy land and ways to make some of them turn into successful goals. Success can be education, happiness, and overcoming life struggles. Dream chasers have goals planned and it is within a time frame. They are full of creative ideas and eager to complete a task. Dream killers have restrictions, low enthusiasm, and present negative energy to place doubt in your ability. They are the people who say no, hidden agendas, and you cannot be better than me individuals.

Happiness
I have been thinking a lot lately about happiness and what it takes to be happy. I have always believed that happiness is a choice, that no matter your circumstances, we all have the ability to find happiness. I recognize that a lot of people either disagree with this, or choose to ignore it. I have absolutely gone through some hard times in my life, but in no way is what I have gone through any easier or any harder than other trials that other people have faced, and this is definitely not a paper about comparing trials.

Pursuit of Happiness
Pursuit of happiness What does happiness mean to you? I think that is the question people are always trying to answer. Happiness to you could mean something different to someone else. People go their whole lives searching for what truly makes them happy. People are always chasing happiness and the gold at the end of the rainbow. Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, but what if it was? Happiness is the state of being happy. Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. When people are successful, or safe, or in love, they feel happiness. The “pursuit of happiness” is something this country is based on, and people tend to feel happiness in different ways and for different reasons. Happiness, true happiness, is an inner quality. It is a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you are happy. Then you need to figure out what brings your mind peace to achieve happiness. Doing what you love or enjoy, traveling places you have always wanted to go, or being around people that make you happy all contribute to your happiness.

Learning How To Be Positive
Back in grade school, I was bullied a lot, from how my teeth are big to how my hair doesn't look right. It was so hard to stay positive when being around so many people who kept pointing out my flaws and making fun of them. It was hard to love myself when everyone was telling me that nobody will ever love somebody like me. It was hard to keep friends when everyone was abandoning me because some stupid, childish rumor was being spread.

Steps to Creating a Positive Routine
Have you ever felt as if you weren't good enough or worthy? Did someone bring you down to darkness, so that you feel there is no escape path for you? Well if that's the case, those kind of people should not be allowed to be a part of your life nor should you allow anyone to make you feel that way. It is quite easy to feel or think negatively in this society. People or things can manipulate your mind and make you feel that you need to change the way you are in order to fit in. That is not and never will be the case, unless you are changing to improve your lifestyle with wise choices. That is why you have to encourage yourself to keep trying to succeed in life. In order for a better and more positive you, you have to change your daily routine.

Fight for Your Moments
Life has been hard for me in the past few years. I lost my daughter and inherited my grandsons to raise. I was not ready financially for two small boys. I have been determined to stay afloat and not succumb to the ever-rising tide of my life's circumstances.

5 Reasons 'The Secret' and Positive Thinking are Not Crap
When I was younger, I was full on new age. I paid very close attention to my horoscope (a personalized one, not the sort in a newspaper). I learned to map out the stars believing they were predicting my present and future. I obsessively used Tarot and other types of fortune telling to ease my anxieties about day to day life. As I got older, I grew more skeptical about the unseen. This skepticism also leeched its way into my life, and I started to question my own abilities and validity. Let’s just say mistakes were made. As I transitioned from “magical thinking” back into my rut, I realized my life was becoming total crap. My boss was basically a micromanaging robot, my co-workers were dropping like flies, and I began to question my self-worth and abilities. I navigated my world with a skeptical mind. I landed a new job, in a new city. This time my supervisor was lovely, but my coworkers (whom I spent most of my time) were micromanaging robots whom used me to raise their own self-esteem despite the fact my experience and education were either on par or exceeding their own. This is the Segway into our first reason “The Secret & Positive Thinking” in general aren’t total crap
