The Power of Rationing Your Fucks
If you haven’t noticed by now, I tend to have a fairly colorful vocabulary and it’s not something I’ll apologize for - however, I do believe it’s appropriate that I warn you in advance that this episode may have more than your usual number of expletives given the subject at hand.

Shifting From Employee to Boss Bitch
So you’ve decided to start a business - woohoo! You’ve quit your job - told your boss where ta’ file any last-minute assignments and have made the proud walk from cubicle to car, grinning from ear to ear, humming Eye of The Tiger to yourself & focusing intensely on NOT tripping over your own feet, as you balance a flimsy box containing your favorite coffee mug, desk plant & weeks worth of stinky Tupperware - because we all know that’s what that dark bottom desk drawer was for.

Oxymoron
Life has taught us to love in moderation. To make sure that the next person doesn't get over on us. This is American culture. To be or not to be, we have one of two options. There's just this one thing that keeps the crabs in the bucket and that's the other crab. We all want to be better than the next or improving on the last. So to stay ahead we work harder than we play. We focus on career and business rather than home and family. We become connected to the course of cultivating our universe. America wants to be the pinnacle of the world and with that goal occupation has to become top priority. We are definitely the home of the brave, but freedom is created in this country not given. Regardless of the level of status one creates service is a commodity that never seems to die. So even when we believe we are free our lives are being used to serve a higher purpose. We are creating a world that is intended to live for generations. Our freedom lies where we decide to serve. This is where we find our will to continue life while loosing every minute we have to succeed. We want to keep walking but our feet tend to swell. While we're striving to become life is fleeting from our grasp. with every moment passing we come closer to death closer to eternity. So we must use our freedom to serve our command. We must do in order to become. With the accomplishments of life responsibility grows in priority and importance. With every level of growth there's a new flight of stairs lying ahead. The idea is to never give up and never stop progressing. The adolescent stage of life can create a complex eternity if one finds comfort in complacency. The idea is to be all that one can be and to conquer over what is beneath you. Never be a slave to your service, but let your labor serve you. This is America! This is the idea that has kept us under the command. The way of creation has forced us into a house and home. A family that continues the trend. We are serving the logic behind the idea of serving ourselves. We are still becoming on the time of recycled concept. A concept that has kept us free in the mind be bound behind physical walls. We must get free truly free. Get out all of the boxes and then sit with your creations. We are the cultivators the bring into the future. Never die behind concept and fleet from obligation, but take charge to the cause and be rewarded in tangible appearance.

How to Define Success for Yourself from Eight Billion Choices
“I like people that define their own values. I am much more interested in somebody who has their own definition of what they value, their own definition of what success is, their own definition of what love is.” — Spike Jonze

How to Break Your Addiction to Failure
I’m going to go out on a limb here. I'm going to suggest that if you have found yourself repeating patterns that end in failure, then there is a reason for it. You may also have something in your past that is causing this pattern.

Do I dare?
Do I have what it takes? Will they read what I say? Did I leave the oven on? How many questions fly through your mind every time you take a chance? If you are lucky, one, maybe two, and they are something powerful and meaningful like "Who the hell can stop me?" or "Why wait another second?" Yeah... those are good questions... they are getting you somewhere. Not gonna hold you down. Good for you. Me, oh I get more than one or two.. I get dozens. "Why would anyone read my stuff?" "Who do you think you are?" "I mean really, did I leave the oven on.... I baked pizza... burned my finger... said some pretty words... um... did I... ?"

Thankful Thoughts
Josh Nielsen Thankful Thoughts As Thanksgiving of 2020 winds down, I reflect on all that I am thankful for. I am sure everybody else does this on this day. Maybe people are thankful for new work promotions, newfound love, their health, or simply all the little things that help life seem not so bad and brings joy to their world. Is one day a year really enough to show gratitude though?

Stop Impressing, And Start Influencing
For many of us, much of our behavior, decisions, actions, views, thoughts, mannerism, and style, is based around trying to impress others. We seem to be hell-bent on trying to fit in with others, desperate to be liked, accepted, admired, and respected. In fact, many of us cannot stand the thought of not being liked by others, and then, in turn, we try our hardest to please them. We often set the expectations on ourselves to please everyone all the time, when the reality is, such a feat is not even a possibility. This sort of behavior all starts from as far back as our schooling days, as we try so hard to make friends, fit in with the "cool kids", and be popular. It's sad that this sort of mentality leads us to destruction, not satisfaction, or success. We end up becoming a person not true to ourselves, as our decisions, actions, behavior, attitude, thoughts, views, and mannerism, aren't truly reflective of who we really are. So what happens? We end up leading a life of trying to please others, rather than pleasing ourselves, because our decisions and actions are based purely on what we believe will impress others. What we don't realize is, it's not impressing others that leads to success, satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment, it's influencing others that creates the greatest impact.
