Paul the CP Puppy
Roger was working at the hospital one day. Marvin Roger's boss said'', Hey Roger come over here there is someone I want you to meet. Roger walked towards Marvin. Marvin said,'' Roger I would like you to meet my little nephew Paul. He wants to be a therapy dog someday. Paul was a little yellow lab puppy. He was wearing a little blue collar with his name on it. Paul looked at Roger and said,'' It is very nice to meet you Roger the therapy dog. My name is Paul but you can call me Paul the CP Puppy

Just a Dog
As I said in Just a Dog: Honky Tramp, my grandmother had two dogs. Honky Tramp was a terrier poodle mix. Lovely Dog was a shaggy sheepdog. Think of the Shaggy Dog movies if you’re old. If you’re not old, well, I don’t have a frame of reference.

Emotional Support Human
The first time I met Rex Ryan he was still a pup. He had just been saved from Craigslist. The runt of the litter and a brindle coated English Mastiff, he was an undesirable from the start. I remember he looked so silly with his paws that were oversized in relation to his scrawny little puppy legs. He stayed in his puppy bed looking out at all the humans that had come to welcome him, he was overwhelmed from the jump. Nevertheless he was adorable from the moment I met him.

Can I please just listen to my book?
Let me start off by saying I've been walking three to four dogs on a regular basis for the last 5 years. I cross paths with a lot of people, mostly strangers. I'm a bit of an introvert and awkward on the best of days, but there's always this increased awkwardness when I'm approaching someone I don't know. It gets even worse when I keep passing the same person, which is the case every time I frequent my favorite walking path.

A Daring Dog
That’s just it doc, it’s a struggle for me to be around the guy. Like I have this overwhelming sense of obligation or loyalty. He was my buddy and close friend through so much. He was there to help me move when my life fell apart. He was always someone to hang with, or talk to, when I needed. Never one to turn a friend down, he would honestly split his last dollar. Shit doc, the guy was even there to help me save my dog from a second story plummet.

Judy the War Hero
I am an animal lover so it makes perfect sense for me to write this true story about a dog named Judy, who became a war hero and the only canine Prisoner of War (POW). Judy was a Japanese POW for three years. I can’t remember where or when I first read about this dog but it was recently. It is such a heart warming story I would like to share it with you. Most dog owners love their dogs so much that they would do anything for them and in turn most dogs would do anything for their owners. I know this is true in my case. But the things dogs in war do for soldiers is incredible. For example, the dog I am going to tell you a little about was actually responsible for helping soldiers whose ship exploded in the ocean to survive by allowing them to hold on to her body in order to make it to safety. She would even go as far as to warn the soldiers of vicious animals being nearby so they could protect themselves. The soldiers were being transferred to different camps in various locations so Judy had to adapt to different kinds of dangers. There are many dogs who became war heroes but Judy is the only dog to be officially registered as a POW.
