Saying goodbye
I don't think anyone is ever ready to say goodbye to their precious four legged best friend. I know I surely wasn't ready. But in September of 2019, I had to do this very thing. I had found her online, someone was moving out of state and couldn't take her. Her name was Jade. I fell in love with her the moment I seen her online picture. I knew she was exactly what me and my children needed. I drove and hour to meet her and instantly fell in love. She was very nervous at first. But a long the way back home she began licking me as if she also knew that she had found her forever home. She was a year old. A full bred Rat Terrier. So incredibly loving and smart.

The Day When an Abandoned Dog Saved My Life
This is a real story. This incident happened to me almost 19 years ago when I was a teenager. I live in a small city in India where we have hundreds of abandoned dogs roaming over the streets. If you don't already know let me tell you that most of the Asian countries have hundreds and thousands of dogs' population and over 70% of them are stray or abandoned dogs. Lately, several non-profit organizations started working for the betterment of street dogs and the numbers are now reducing.
