dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Dealing With Doggy Depression
When we look at our dogs, we think they are just the happiest creatures on earth. It's hard to imagine our wiggly tailed and happy faced pooches could ever feel anything but innocent, pure joy. So for a lot of dog owners, they are surprised when they find out that dogs actually can suffer from depression.

Why Do Dogs Eat Cat Poop?
Yes, that's the title. And believe it or not, there are actually dogs out there who do eat cat poop. Before I get into the reasons why, your dog isn't the only dog that's doing this. There are so many dog owners out there who've witnessed their own dog eat their cat's poop right out of the cat's litter box. I can just imagine your reaction. You were utterly disgusted, insanely confused, and either stood there dumbfounded or immediately yelled at your pup to stop what they're doing.

The Loyalty of a Friend
What is your ideal loyal friend? Is it someone you trust? Someone you love? Some one who cares about you and never desires to see you hurt? Well I have a short story about a dog who always seemed to amaze me with his kindness and gentleness towards people.

How To Go Green with Your Dog
With the days going fast, people are thinking about how to go green with their purebred breeders and thus make their four-footed friends feel at home. Since a dog is still a man’s best friend, you should take the necessary precautions to make your dog feel comfortable in his or her surroundings. With Earth Day only a few days away, your dog as well as you will continue to live on this planet and thus continuously make an impact whether big or small.

I Thought I Would Be a Strict Dog Owner
At my parents' house, we never locked up the dogs unless they were puppies and still in the process of being house trained. They roamed free during the day when we were gone for school and work. Rachel (my sister) and I would come home from school and the dogs would come racing to the front door to greet us. Mostly, it was Lady, our little, black Cocker Spaniel that would ALWAYS bring us one of her toys to show us, but never let us have. We were definitely easy going dog owners at my parents' house.

The Love of My Life
I know there are many out there who will say, "but it's just a dog." Firstly, "it's" a "he," and secondly, there's no such thing as "just a dog." I believe there's no such thing as "just" any sort of animal, actually. They all have remarkable personalities; cows listen to music and turkeys like hugs. But for me, my little slice of family comes in the shape of a Jack Russell Terrier. Cooper is not big or brilliantly behaved or even particularly nice to everyone. But he's mine. And through no choice of my own...I'm his. This little dog who doesn't even stand as high as my wellies and who weighs in at quite a hefty stone and a bit has become a torch for me. When I cry, he licks my tears, and when he is filled with joy on his beach walk, do you know what he does? About 100 metres away, he turns around, grins at me, and like a tiny missile, hurls himself from wherever he is, straight into my knees. This is love.

Things Pets Do That Make Us Wanna Rip out Our Hair
Animals are a small part of what makes life better, whether it's from a funny online video that make Monday better; or coming home to their adorable faces, there is always something they can do to make us feel better. This is most true for dogs in my household, which currently holds three rescue dogs. They are the highlight of my days and the joy of everything, but things aren't always perfect with them. It amazes me how much trouble these three can get into just in one day, but how they still manage to captivate and steal my heart every day. The following below are just a few of the things that I have dealt with in my house from the triplets of destruction.

Nala’s Thoughts
I find myself wondering quite a bit about what my dog (Nala) thinks about. Like what goes on in her head when she finds her bone underneath the couch or when she runs around in circles in the middle of the living room or even when she lays down next to me for the six hours that I work every day. She’s got a big personality, so I’m positive that she doesn’t have boring thoughts. Well here is my interpretation of just a few of Nala’s thoughts on daily occurrences based on her facial expressions and emotions when dealing with these occurrences in first person.
