I watch the sun sink beneath the sea of trees
And the tide of darkness seep between every leaf
The darkness so deep
Anything just beyond my reach
Can no longer be seen
I feel as if I'm stepping into the domain of death
So bleak
Then the tree closest to me
Reaches for me
Wrapping its leaves around my body
Bounding me
Raising me to its branches
And pulls me in different directions
Disfiguring my body
Then it grows large thorns that pierce through me completely
My blood drips onto a demon watching from underneath
It licks its lips grinning
At my mangled body in the tree.
