You and me

We see things differently

You and I

Have different thoughts about when we die

You say you don’t want to know Him

I believe your view is grim

I love sitting at His feet

You said you don’t care if you two ever meet

And you reject Biblical rules

That make you feel like a kid in school

I enjoy obeying Him

You told me my views are dim

And I need to be more woke

When I say hell is no joke

I long to look upon His face

And feel the warmth of His embrace

You tell me to leave you alone

And allow you to think on your own

To have faith or none is a choice

We each are allowed our own voice
