At One With Nature

The wind smells like wet grass,

rain from yesterday,

I walk barefoot,

mud squishing between toes,

why wear shoes,

the sky confused,

gold or gray,

birds argue,

the river laughs at me,

waves clapping stones,

mountains shrug,

clouds whisper secrets,

nature does not hurry,

does not complain,

it exists,

messy, absurd, perfect,

flowers nod cheering,

sun peeks shyly,

air tastes of earth and possibility,

I stumble, smile,

the world does not care,

I laugh,

almost cry,

this is living? Yes it is.

You should do this one for real, Miss Marie. It will definitely set you free mentally speaking. Nature is freeing. Good job.

What a lovely take on nature at its best.
