a poem

I can’t trust this place

Made too many mistakes

So I stay inside

Trying to hide

awaiting rescue

from the darkness

Outside

the accumulation

of devastation

from a three decade fall

Leaves me

Drowning in litter

Plaguing the hall

I can’t get out

alone

I can’t get out

at all

So trapped, excellently written. If this is drawn from real experience, I am so sorry - I hope you find your way out soon!

Such despair. I’m so sorry Kayleigh. Maybe you can’t get out alone but don’t lose hope

This poem really captures that feeling of being stuck and overwhelmed. The emotion behind the words is so powerful and real. If you have a chance, I’d love for you to check out my content too.

  • I can't believe how long this has been going on. Like isn't there an end to this 🥺
