Crows on Sycamore Tree
Power lies in community

Sunset time,
I was coming from a local park,
crow cawing sound in the air.
I looked at an enormous bare sycamore,
glowing in the amber light.
As I looked closer,
I saw seventy-something crows
perches on the branches,
cawing, until more joined,
what a spectacle it made!
As dusk was falling,
they all flew, to their night shelter
to the jungle.
and my respect for crows grew.
You can call them dark,
an inelegant bird,
one that has harsh noise
which eats from trash bin,
but see their social skill.
It is smart to know:
power lies in community.

I love crows. I always say hello to them, but they always fly away 😅😅
You got that one right, Seema. Community is awesome depending on the particular community.
