Public Announcement (challenge poem)

So many like to comment on posts

Which makes many feel like burnt toast

Would you rather reply, or ghost?

Polite replies are misunderstood

It is better to clap back, yes, be rude

Let the intruder know how you feel,

tell them to shove off and let them squeal

It’s ok, don’t worry yourself silly

They jumped on your page, trying to bully

Now it is your turn to give them a nudge

off your posts; they can go back to their sludge

of a life and stop trying to live on your Facebook page

Or you can simply unfriend them to assuage your rage

Great take on dumpster Facebook, Andi. Its value as a social network is diminishing every day. It's nothing but ads and AI drab now.

The very reason I do not partake heavily on any social media. Well said

  • Lovely rhyming entry for the challenge… I’m barely on Facebook… this doesn’t sound fun.😬

  • Some great advice in your challenge piece

The world of social interaction does it do more harm than good? Nice piece, Andrea.

  • These people have wayyyy too much time on their hands. So annoying!
