Poor little dog so tired and blue.

Grandma Snores and the Dog Can’t Sleep

Grandma’s snoring fills the night,

A roaring sound, a mighty fright.

The windows rattle, the curtains sway,

Her snores echo miles away.

The poor old dog, on his soft bed,

Flops his ears and shakes his head.

He huffs, he puffs, he gives a groan,

Wishing for some peace of his own.

He tries the couch, the chair, the floor,

But Grandma’s snores grow more and more!

He gives up the fight, his patience through,

And goes chewing shoes up all night through!

OMG, sounds like me from years ago. (then I found out I have sleep apnea) but - and this is the truth, I was having a root canal done. Once the procedure was over, I asked the dental assistant what the machine was that the dentist used. It sounded like a bulldozer. She laughed and said (her exact words): oh honey. he only used his standard small drill. that noise you heard was you snoring. you fell asleep!"
