Fourteen years and it daily gets no simpler.

We miss you always, no less than the day before.

We lived our lives in unison. Our family strong.

Our hearts remains shattered. We will never be whole again.

The little things: your smile, your warmth, your laughter, your love.

All the vivid colors of our lives have gone grayscale.

Time passes slowly. Joy has gone and your daughters still mourn.

Your granddaughters never will know you. They have missed so much.

No grandpa to love. No games to be played. No bedtime stories.

Our memories maybe fueled by your thoughts of us from heaven.

One day, we’ll be united again and then we’ll have forever.
