How do I do it?

**

Think Think,

Let the memories pinch,

**

Stare Stare,

Let the eyes well up with the air,

**

Bring Bring,

Let the souvenirs sting,

**

Check Check,

The sad movies on the deck,

**

The body, holding back the tears,

The breaks applied,

without a plan to steer,

**

The fear of showing,

yet the desperation to show,

The sadness in the eyes,

yet the smile in the dark,

The judging lens, a spy,

a discomfort looking into the eye,

**

Pat Pat,

Let the shoulders breathe,

**

Wait Wait,

Let the funny bone tickle,

the silly laughter gearing up,

the tear rolling down to cheer,

the doubts that appear,

Grab the calmness in pain,

the blood trickling down the veins,

the blockages in the clear,

**

Inact Inact,

Blowing the nose in the act,

An onion peel, kept intact,

**

Cry Cry,

Let the satisfaction pry,

the pride in the eye,

in a space,

hesitant enough to cry,

**

Look Look,

at the body holding back the tears,

the people mumbling in fear,

let them be,

**

Don't wait Don't wait,

When in need,

Just cry,

For once,

You cry,

Cry,

Wholeheartedly,

**

Don't wait Don't wait,

Let the unrest swell up in the eye.

About the Creator

Parvathi J

Through my pages, I find the quiet complexities of pain dwelling in a solitary space, burdening life’s endless demands, and unburdening the voiceless noise.

Witnessing the questioning, I speak the deeper silence of my voice.
