If there really is a God

When faith is challenged

If there really is a God

Where can he be found?

Is he still among us as a mortal

Or does he live somewhere more profound?

Has he gone away on holiday

Disgusted with whatโ€™s around

๐Ÿ”ท๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ”ธ

If there really is a God

How come humanity is so bad?

Has he thrown his hands into the air?

Annoyed, we blew the chances that we had?

When he looked upon the earth, he created

It must make him feel so sad.

๐Ÿ”ท๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ”ธ

If there really is a God

He must be so confused

Witness to the things we have done

The land weโ€™ve raped and misused

Animals and children donโ€™t get enough respect

Blessings we took for granted, continually abused

๐Ÿ”ท๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ”ธ

If there really is a God

It time to reappear

And please, if you can hear me

With earth about to disappear

Some of us need your love

Some of us remain sincere.

๐Ÿ”ท๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”ถ๐Ÿ”ธ

Till next time,

Calvin

I fully believe in God. I literally died and am here to tell that story. I won't say I saw angels or anything like that, but I did watch myself from above and watch as they attempted to bring both me and my dead daughter back to life. We are both alive and well. Also, I have two more blessings when I was told I wouldn't even make it through one. I have also beat cancer with no medical intervention. I quite literally a walking and breathing medical miracle that no one can explain. I don't think that happens without God. The world is in shambles right now, but God has not abandoned us. ๐Ÿฉท

  • In sixty-seven years, I have seen no evidence of any god. I think Ian Anderson (and several others got it right, "and on the nth day man created god" . Excellent poem
