It's Not For Me

but for thee

By Noel T. CumberlandPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

It's not for me that the blood flows

to the eyes, to the ears

to the fingers and toes

It's not for me that breath goes

through the lungs and the heart

and the smile and the nose

It's not for me that I tread the Earth

but for thee.
