Life Lessons from the Sparrows
It's worth paying attention to

Imagine…
The sparrows are free.
With partners or friends.
They visit my garden.
They forage in the
mustard and nasturtium.
They sip and splash
from the birdbath,
rest on the guava tree,
sing if they like,
sunbathe on the wall,
and then take off
to the blue sky.
They have shorter lives,
no possessions—
but are we luckier?
Spending morning to evening
in scented cubicles,
crucified by psychopathy,
we spend gloomy days
So, learn from birds
Good life lessons:
Don’t suffer in loneliness.
Make the most of the seasons.
Don’t crave material things.
Live in the present.

Oh wow, I just read a piece my Marilyn Glover and both if you practically said the same thing! Loved your poem!
"Beautiful and thought-provoking! The sparrows symbolize true freedom and presence—reminding us what really matters in life. Inspiring work!"
What a great poem and great advice. Good job.
