The Unnecessary Line Challenge
Little children what do you know
and what exactly, are you able to show
do you know why the world is fighting all its foes
What Kind Of World Are We Leaving You

Little children what do you fear
and what exactly will you hold dear
with conflicts rising both far and near
What Kind Of Word Are We Leaving You

Little children what do you little ears hear
and are we instilling in you absolute fear
what message are we sending you loud and clear
What Kind Of World Are We Leaving You

the world is suffering in silence
Little children are you afraid
Of the mess the adults have already made
will you grow up and lobby for a crusade

and you wonder what it's all worth
and you would like to have a little re-birth

WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS, STOP THE FIGHTING, STOP THE

Draft Deleting? Don't Do It!
Today, I had a little time. I decided that I would have a look at the drafts that I have on Vocal. This is part of a long-term wish to have everything I've written on paper rather than virtually. I've not looked at them for weeks and something drew me to them, just to browse and see what was there.

To do better, the world needs better leaders who can inspire people to be better. We are drowning in the filth if lies and corruption. Excellent poem, Susan.
We are leaving a terrible world for the future generation. I hope that somehow things would get better. Loved your poem!
Sad but true! A great call to action. We need to make things better for future generations, just like people did in the past history. And we are. I see us fighting for better.
