The Unnecessary Line Challenge
I stood at the doorway
and I always wondered why
why they could go
and never I

I thought it was something
I didn't do and I sighed
I imagined the fun they must have had
and never I

but someone had noticed
God heard the cries
He heard the little girl that said
and never I

I had a lot of good friends at the playground
but then one day an intervention
He helped me say goodbye
did HE walk by the little girl that said
and never I
*****************************************************
God sent me an angel
because HE could not deny
the little girl that was saying
and never I
****************************************************
she took me home
where I was right by her side
I would no longer say
and never I
****************************************************

Draft Deleting? Don't Do It!
Today, I had a little time. I decided that I would have a look at the drafts that I have on Vocal. This is part of a long-term wish to have everything I've written on paper rather than virtually. I've not looked at them for weeks and something drew me to them, just to browse and see what was there.
