Deep breath in,

Deep breath out,

feel the rush of emotion,

slowly leach out.

You've done it right,

when the ice sets in,

it starts in your toes,

and fills from within.

The current was flowing,

full force and in love,

but you can flip the switch off,

when the love's not enough.

High voltage heartache,

will burn your life down,

but with a careful rewiring,

you can power it down.

One word of warning,

for the journeyman heart,

you can turn it all off,

but it'll never restart.
