The Unnecessary Line Challenge
Thanks so much for such a lovely offer
Every morning, you so helpfully proffer
I patter and potter, pause and ponder
Warily peer far away out yonder
Tentatively take a step on over.

Oh my, youāre too kind by far
Patiently holding the door ajar
As I stand here statue still
Scenting the breezeās biting chill
Frozen indecisively ā mid pose ā quite bizarre.

Rattle! Rumble! Roar! Garbage truck idlesā¦ ever ravenous for more.
*
Twitching ears rotate and flick
Zeroed in on sibilant sounds so quick
The hiss of a slithering snake
Causes my tail to quiver and shake
About Turn! Back inside in just one tick.
