Runner-up in Sensational II Challenge

I know I should’ve smelt the burning wood

But I was too focused on the taste of forgiveness, warm on my tongue

I should’ve heard the ambulance siren as it came for me

But I was too busy looking at you to see the bridge alight with flames

I didn’t even feel the sticky red seeping through my white t-shirt until it was too late and I was dying from it

Girl, you’re on track to get second in the next challenge, and win the one after that! Moving up the ranks! 🤩 Congrats on placing! This one is just amazing. I love putting myself in the speaker’s shoes, to feel the dissonance of forgiveness with utter destruction, both material and mortal. Just brilliant. It doesn’t even need to be a Sensational one; it speaks like it was always meant to be written like this.

  • Well deserved placing in the challenge ✅🤩.

  • Wooohooooo congratulations on your win! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
