Pursuit of Self

Carry me forward

In Ancient Greece the playwright, philosopher and theologist said it best.

Knowledge is suffering ang he choose to learn will be put to test.

Aechylus had wisdom that will outlast time,

For indeed, I am branched on finding where I am rooted.

I left home 6 years ago, or did I really?

Perhaps the area where my seed was sowed was a poor environment,

Now in new soil with a new look, my branches have just come out.

My roots are deep in the soil soaking the nutrition they never got.

I am carried forward by stimulating conversation.

I am very opinionated, yet never shy to hear others' views.

My branches grow from bonding with others,

Hearing their stories, their roots, traumas, and reaching for strength.

Vocal.Media which I heard from a fellow gamer has given me a platform.

I see, read, critique and share stories of faith lost, faith renewed,

Scars on canvas, laughter embraced and ultimately friends I make on the way.

All beings have roots and branches, sometimes they just need to reach for the light.

Bloom where you choose to be planted, works too, as Imola says. I found Vocal when I was far away from friends and family, saw it on FB. So, no matter how we all found one another, we learn and grow together. So happy for you. Be well, dear Sid. Blessings on your wonderful progress.

People say "bloom where you were planted", but I always thought some bloom better when replanted in new soil, new environment. I'm glad you found a better soil to bloom and grow ❤️

Well-wrought! May we see the forest for the trees and leave plenty of room for branches to grow!

There’s a quiet confidence in how you describe learning through conversation and shared stories. Growth feels earned, not assumed.

Oh this is warm and quietly powerful!! Love the honesty, love the imagery, love the vibe. Sometimes the moment you realize you were never “lost”… is exactly when you start growing in the right direction. ✨
