Amidst the CNY lantern deco,
The Mall sets up a festive show,
The zodiac snake takes center stage,
With a timeless board game for every age.
Calling all the bold,
With dice in hands, one’s fate to hold,
When each number rolled, a story unfolds...
Leaders use ladders to reach the sky,
While snakes pull down and make dreams dry,
Aghh... Should we give up?
No, just roll the dice to catch up and rise anew,
Till the final square comes into view.
Snake and Ladder is a game of chance,
Yet life demands a solid performance,
Climb the ladder with grit until the top,
Avoid snaky red flags with twisted stops.
Roll the dice, take heart and aim,
Master the board and win our life’s game!

The Devil's Triangle
The sails ruffled in the breeze as we cruised along. The Sea Breeze was a mid-size catamaran that sailed out of Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda. We had booked this trip weeks in advance and were now looking at our Captain, Spike and two boat hands. Paddy and Wilson seemed like nice guys, joking around with the passengers and telling us some stories about Bermuda that only locals would know. Their island accents sounded almost British but they were pleasant to listen to.
