Poetry books by POC
It’s POETRY MONTH, so naturally I’ve been reading more poetry than usual. I’ve always felt iffy about poetry due to many making my eyes roll and getting me to say “what does that even mean,” or “Fake deep.” Don’t get me wrong, I always appreciate the poem in general and I understand there are different types and writers that I just may not connect with, while there are tons I will absolutely adore.
