Magic Carpet Ride
Soul Soothing Journey Magic Carpet Ride It felt like a magic carpet ride; this magic, though, seemed more authentic. There were no genies, wands, or magic spells. Instead, it was the power of Mother Nature reconnecting with me as if I were a long-lost child.

Flame and Light
Soul Soothing Journey Flame and Light “God brought me here.” Both men said to themselves. One was smiling while adjusting his tie and exiting his luxurious vehicle while the other one dropped his bike to the ground and noticed another hole in his shirt.

Mother Nature's Melody
Soul Soothing Journey Mother Nature’s Melody I’m not fully sure what happened. I felt emotionally, mentally, and spiritually tired and angry. I wanted to somehow open my forehead and allow all my thoughts to be free. I wasn’t even sure what would come out. I also wanted to find a way to open my body from the center of my throat down to the bottom of my stomach. It was as if I wanted to let all the pain escape and be free. I wanted it to be alive while out of me instead of in me. I wanted to see it, communicate with it, and understand it — because I wasn’t understanding a thing.

Pond of Us
Soul Soothing Journey Pond of Us Checking the weather app on my phone, I walked from the kitchen back to the bedroom. I saw “today’s high will be in the 30’s” and I knew I’d made the right decision to stay home. I placed a mug full of coffee on the nightstand and put my phone on silent to then throw it into the closet.
