performance poetry
Performance Poetry is poetry out loud; poems brought from the page to the stage.
Tell Me
Tell me are you for me like I am for you? Baby I'll move the whole sky for you, realign the stars if it pleases you, I'll bring you milk from the milky way, travel for words the backwords way, I mean I'll speak magical, that's incantations, I'm here there's no hesitation, just tell me, are you for me like I am for you, I'll forget me before I forget you (1st), show the real of true, the wheels are true, let's be fortunate, more than just intimate, we ultimate, that means when I say I—my meaning is in you, but baby I do ask one thing from you, reciprocate, be for me like I am for you, my hands are for forging you, and I am not speaking about replicate, baby let me mold you with the heat I make, we can be better than great, I just need you to be for me like I'm for you, that's the only time Love can be true

Words
Words Words are the witnesses of our experiences and memories. Spoken word fade into Oblivion but written word is what makes us immortal.I speak to influence the Here and Now, to make change that I can see and feel. I write to influence the future, to continue my life's work, to make change when I am dead and gone.

Retrospective
I find that, from time to time, I will open up past journals and revisit my poetry and writing. Several times in my life, I have contemplated using some of these past writings in a novel or story. This concept has hit me again today as Nanowrimo is coming up, and I thought I would share some previous work as I look through the journals.
