The Unnecessary Line

Circling the sun with grace

Molten magma, cooled in space

From majestic icy mountain face,

To the dark depths of the seas.

Endless is her twirling, knowing,

Abundant are the gifts she’s growing,

Lush and green, and beauty glowing,

With fertile rains and breeze.

No mortal knows the day nor hour,

When her eternal spinning ceases.

The electricity of life,

Teaming, gleaming

Within her earthy creases.

Euphorias of births and deaths,

A quadrillion little plastic pieces

Make one so human scratch their head

Of majestic nature’s sacred sites,

Of bustling days,

And starry nights,

And such a world,

A human plight,

To grasp beyond their reaches.
