the fruit section at the grocery store

When you smell cherry blossoms, I hope you think of me and the days we spent doing everything and nothing.

When you taste cinnamon and sugar, I hope you remember me and mourn the time that was once our friend and is now the wall between us.

When you feel the softness of a warm blanket wrapped around you, do you think of all the times I saved you and curse yourself for losing me?

Do you remember the quietness of my voice when I last spoke to you? Do you think of the blood curdling screams of abandonment that lay just behind my eyes?

Do you ever see me? In your dreams? Your nightmares? Your conscience? Or is it only in the fruit section at the grocery store when you look at the ground instead of facing the aftermath of your carelessness? Tell me, do you feel any guilt when you see the carcass that you turned me into?

The fruit section at the grocery store offers a vibrant array of fresh produce, showcasing everything from juicy oranges to crisp apples. Shoppers can find seasonal fruits, which not only enhance their meals but also provide essential vitamins and nutrients. In this colorful display, one might stumble upon exotic options, creating an exciting opportunity to try something new. If you’re planning a sweet treat afterward, you might want to consider Krispy Kreme donut hours, https://hoursalert.com/krispy-kreme-easter-hours-deal-christmas-donuts/ which can be a delightful way to end your grocery trip. With a little luck, you could time it perfectly for a fresh donut right out of the fryer.

What the actual beautiful??? Omg, I've never loved a scathing piece as much as that last line. "Or is it only in the fruit section at the grocery store when you look at the ground instead of facing the aftermath of your carelessness?" Tell me a story in a single sentence. Be vague while being specific. Tell me how a person helped you grow and manifest fruit, and then left you to rot. HOW did you think of that metaphor I AM IN AWE. (And it hearkens back to the cherry blossoms in the beginning? WTFFFFF)

Your poetry always gets to the heart of the pain and shows its broken pieces.

  • I hope some of the happier times remain intact in memories 🥺🤔. Well written ✅

Such heart wrenching emotions and words....the ironic beauty therein leaves me quite speechless.
