I've witnessed life in its purest form,
Emerging from the shadows of an ideal zone,
Twirling in twilight and rising with the dawn.
*
This has to be some kind of joke.
*
I've witnessed life's madness unfold,
Twisted minds and ruined times,
As if this greedy beast had never satisfied itself.
*
In moments of joy, in moments of pain,
It all blends into one,
Life seen from different angles.
*
No matter what you say about it, you'll be right,
Because there are as many opinions as there are people on Earth.
The one true core is this life, our existence and thriving.
*
We all come from diverse backgrounds,
Some better equipped, with more experience.
Ultimately, it all boils down to one thing: life itself.
*
Someone might ask, for what it’s worth,
Why do we struggle every single day?
The answer is right there at our feet - life itself.
*
For better times may lie ahead,
Hidden from view, awaiting our embrace.
The crucial question remains unanswered.
*
It will all matter in the end
When we shed our earthly clothes,
Standing truthfully in the nudity of our souls.
*
The truth will be revealed, and it will be undeniable.
Though its message won't be heard by human ears,
It will stir the conscience and cause a great commotion.
*
No one would bat an eye, that's for sure
No one would care, as everyone
Has their own agenda to push around here
*
Until we all meet there, equally, without support
All our masks will drop at our feet
And we'll thank someone that the worst is behind us.
*
No one will shed a tear or burst into laughter,
remaining solemnly serious,
in the name of life itself, reduced to ashes.
