Unexpected Perspectives
_____/——/____/——_____/

I’ve been handled by so many people.
Now, I’m feeling rather dirty.
Pushed.
Pulled.
Without a noteworthy word of doting to recently have received,
I see both sides of things.
Stillness.
Waiting.
I’m longing to be touched.
Clutched by someone.
Even for a second.
Linger longer.
Clasping me stronger.
It feels warm and right.
Gentle brush stroke of affection.
Finally.
Long awaited Clorox wipe.
Remembered my metal frame,
and need to be ridden of germs,
as I am a doorknob.

Oh this is clever! You absolutely had me going in one direction and then click… doorknob. Smart perspective shift.
You handled this so well it felt like an opening into a whole world that was keyed into something... Okay, I'll stop now. 🔑 🚪
I'll never look at a doorknob the same way again lol 👀 They're so taken for granted... 🤔 Can you imagine if there were no doorknobs? We'd have to have swinging saloon doors- think of the dramatic entrances and exits though!😍
