In The World of Drag
a fierce and fabulous article
The first time that I had gone to a nightclub was a drag night club like i had said in a previous article. The drag queens in the show were fierce and fabulous and i was even in the hotseat, and had an encounter with the queen. The queen did a great impersonation of Whitney Houston. Also in a previous article I talked about going to the Greenwich Village Halloween party and parade dressed as Gomez Addams, the Raul Julia tribute that was me dressing in drag as a tribute to the Raul Julia version of Gomez Addams in the early 90's movies.

Cherry Pop is a cool movie that I saw once about a fledgling drag nightclub and the people who work there too. It takes place in the world of drag nightclubs and it has heart and warmth because the queens in the movie are not only employees who work at the same club, they are an actual family. The first time I went to a nightclub of any kind it was to see a drag show at a drag nightclub. It was great fun! All of the queens were fierce and fabulous and talented beyond belief.

"I know why you did it, though," Blue whispered. "You have a broken heart. From before this." "My heart arrived broken," Taj said, "I don't know why." "I do. You're sensitive." "I am." "You still got something innocent in you, love. But they broke you." "They did." " You still broke me, though." "Hey!" Taj said, frowning her eyes angrily", "You broke me too." Her voice came out faint, shivery.”Let's talk about it. Just a bit.” “What is there to talk about?” Taj's voice was a broken glass.
