The First Time My Transgender Son Used the Men’s Bathroom
My child, Z, told me they wanted to be a boy when they were only eight years old. I thought it was like them telling me they wanted to be a firefighter or an astronaut. I dismissed the entire conversation as unimportant. This was the first of many mistakes I’ve made regarding my son’s transition. I still regret not taking Z’s words more seriously.

Karen, Your Opinion on Parenting My Transgender Kid is Not Valid
We’ve all seen one of those ‘Karen’ videos of a woman who feels obliged to share her unrequested judgment exposing her ignorance. Her lifetime of unhappiness is directed to whoever she deems is different enough from her. Then without prompt, she is compelled to intervene on the behalf of all those other Karens like her. A few of the videos are funny, many are ridiculous, and most are displays of ignorant contention.

Living Without Love - Being Aroace
Whether we realise it or not, the world we live in pushes romance on us at every opportunity. Fairy tales are often centred around someone finding their 'one true love', partners are often referred to as someone's 'better' half or parts, apparently around 60% of songs are love songs (though different sources suggested different amounts) and anyone without a partner (especially if they are older) is usually depicted as sad and lonely or wishing that they did have one.

I finally came across a couple of news items I can justify typing about; somewhat. Neither of them interest me a whole lot. Laurel Hubbard of New Zealand appears to be the less newsworthy of the two; she is a transgender power lifter, if I understand correctly. I don't think you'd mistake her for being exceptionally photogenic; moreover she is not doing a great deal as an Olympian. Maybe were she non binary things would be slightly different. Still, give credit where it is due; she is perhaps breaking ground. A prevailing opinion seems to be that in non contact sports this type of athlete cannot risk injuring anyone but herself and ought to be allowed to compete.
