I have so many bags and shoes that people are shocked by the number (it is very high) that I own. Something else surprising? That even with a massive number of bags and shoes, I can manage to narrow it down to a few favorites.

In fashion folklore, Gabrielle Chanel is famously credited as the designer who popularised trousers, making them a key piece in women's wardrobes, and also for helping to liberate women from the tyranny of the corset. Instead of caging them in stuffy, superfluous designs, her clothes prioritised freedom of movement, mobility and comfort. The making of khadi (derived from the word khaddar) involves converting the fibre into yarn with spinning wheels, and then weaving the yarn into fabric using looms.
